We much preferred this house to the high rises we have stayed at in the past. We loved the location; it was a short walk to the beach, and the beach was not as crowded. The house is not beach front nor beach view but is within quick walking distance. You need to cross the highway to access the beach (which is stunning). You certainly need a car, nothing is within walking distance but a gas station and a liquor store. Also dont waste your money on renting a golf cart, they are not allowed on the roads outside of the subdivions per state law. There are 2 pools. One is small with seats and no shade, the other is nice with a bathroom, umbrellas and comfy seats also a grill. The home is for sale and definantly in need of some repairs which are very obvious. Furniture is stained, cracks in the ceiling going up the stairs and drawers dont line up properly. With that said this did not deter our stay no really affect us, its a rental so what it is. If you do bring a dog its a nice neighborhood to walk but limited on "potty" areas unless your pet poops on pavement. The beach chairs provided were left by previous people staying at the house,it was very apparent. There are NO beach towels so bring your own (I've never rented a beach house with no beach towels). The umbrellas were broken as were the boogie boards and some chairs, you need to sift thru what is usable. They do probide a push beach buggy that was handy for our items. They have a nice outside shower to rinse off. We had a great time and enjoyed the stay but wanted to note both pros and cons. ##### Jennifer M. We all loved the location and the amount of space we had compared to similarly priced condos on the beach. The pool being right outside our door was also convenient if we didn't want to walk across the street to the beach. It even has an ankle deep end with fountains. One of us could grill while the other took the kids to the pool. It was a super short walk to the private beach. Zero crowding. The unit was quiet and peaceful. Upstairs bedrooms are COLD!!! We slept so good. I had a few questions and they were answered almost immediately every time I text! She was precious! This is a nice neighborhood and we would stay here again. The internet speed was a touch slow and the TV struggled. Not a huge deal for us, but may be to some. Also, may want to check the sleeper sofa for some rocks :), but I've never sat on a comfy sleeper sofa. This stay still earns 5 stars across the board. Was well stocked and the property manager was very responsive. This is also the best priced unit in the small loop of tannins. ##### Dan & Brittany H. A short walk to the beach, a pool just steps from your door and the state park trails that are accessible from the community! Our two younger kids loved it and we did too! The unit is great! Super efficient and comfy. Exactly as advertised. The property manager was amazing to work with and super quick to respond for the few needs we had. Only recommendation I have is black out curtains for the bedrooms and a couple extra blankets on the beds. Other than that, 10/10! Thank you guys for hosting a wonderful stay for us! ##### Lindsay S. The location with respect to other things in Orange Beach is great. The house is lovely — well kept and nicely decorated. The checkin process was easy, and the property manager was communicative and helpful. We loved the area of the beach to which this property has access. It was quiet and uncrowded unlike so many others. We enjoyed having our dogs with us, and the village was a gr at place to enjoy a walk with them. 10/5 stars. We will be back! ##### Bonnie B. The townhouse is beautiful and very clean. It appears to be a very new unit and decorated tastefully. I did sacrifice being on the beach side this visit for my dog’s sake, but had trouble getting a gulf cart business to return my call and after googling other business quickly discovered how expensive it was to rent one simply to cross the highway. We love Orange Beach and have stayed at various condos. There are lots of family fun things to do near by. The weather was perfect and it wasn’t very crowded. Turns out October is a perfect time for the beach. Will be back hopefully soon. ##### Michelle L.
