We had some hiccups at first but they were reported and fixed very quickly! These are things that were reported as needing to be fixed in a previous review. I was informed it was fixed prior to booking but was not. However, they did fix these issues that evening and the next morning (new bedframe was needed and store was closed that evening). I will say the rugs are either material that hold sand or a new vacuum may be needed. Other than the rug issues, the condo was very clean and nicely stocked. We had a great time!!

The master bedroom bed frame was broken when we arrived. I sat on the edge of the bed to take my shoe off, and it fell down. We had to rig it using pots from the kitchen to make it level.

NCAA Beach Volleyball Tournament Vacation

This property was clean and the host was very helpful. When the code didn't work for us to get in the first time, the owner was quick to respond and reset the door code. The rooms were spacious, and the beds are comfortable (except the pull out couch, which I have yet to find one that is). There was room for an air mattress, if needed, in the living room.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful time with our family of 4 and our 5 month old. The condo was very well kept and right off the beach with a great pool. We will definitely stay at this place again!

Sweet time

The condo inside was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and the short walk to the beach. However, the fire alarm system on the building went off at 6:30am and lasted for about an hour. It was very annoying. Hallways leading up to the condo could use better lighting and paint.

Loved this!

It was a beautiful place to stay, very easy access to the beach, great beach/pool equipment available for use and loved having the various pools. A few suggestions that could be helpful would be having ice in the freezer, salt/pepper, and coffee filters in the kitchen. I’m not sure if we just overlooked them though. Thank you for sharing your space with us, it was our home away from home. God Bless you!

Beach Getaway

This is our 4th year to stay at Sugar Beach Condos and our 1st time at this particular condo. We had a great experience. U can see the ocean from the balcony. The condo had everything you would need. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities. Make sure you bring coffee grounds not pods. The bunk beds are small and the bottom bunk has very little clearance to the top so better suited for a small child. There is a pull out couch which my kids did end up using but that mattress is not ideal for adults. Very lumpy and u can feel every spring. The kids didn’t mind. The kids room ceiling fan string was broke so we had to unscrew the bulb so we could use the ceiling fan at night. Those are the only negatives. It was a beautiful condo nicely decorated. I would 💯 use this same one again.

Mini Vacay 2023

I’ll start off by saying the unit itself was super cute and clean. Great location when it comes to access to the beach!! But the building it’s in has the weirdest smell and looks run down when you start going to your room. Also the unit has been updated so it does not match the photos 100%. The bathrooms are missing some shelving. The bunk beds are smaller than a twin size bed with at the most 2ft of space from the bottom bunk to the top… along with being very unstable. Some items were damaged upon arrival. Along with ALL batteries missing from the items that need batteries (funny but odd 😂). But with all the being said the unit was clean and cozy. I would definitely stay here again.. just might bring my own batteries and air mattress next time 😂❤️

Relaxing

I booked this place going from the pictures of the bedrooms. In the second room there were bunks with a full size on the bottom which I thought would work great since my son and grandson were going on this trip with us. When we got there, the bunks had been changed to twin bunks and the bottom was on the floor. So disappointed in that. Pictures need to be updated. In the master, there were cutains over the sliding glass doors. In the moring when the sun came up, you were waking up at 5:30 even if you didn't want to. Maybe some black out curtains would work better there. Overall we had a good stay. I was also dissapointed when I went to make breakfast and there were no skillets to cook with. I finally found a dutch over that I could make scrambled eggs in. There were pleanty of plates, glasses, coffee mugs and silverware. Just not much to cook with. If these few things had of been different, I would have given 5 stars.

Keyless entry

All places I’ve stayed before when you have a keyless entry, the door automatically locks behind you, this ONE DOES NOT AND IS THE ONLY UNIT THAT IS LIKE THAT! IT ALSO WAS THE ONLY CONDO ON THE PREMISES THAT HAD 4 Locks It was not until the night before we left that we realized the door did NOT LOCK BEHIND US. All the hours we spent at the beach and pool, our condo you could have walked in and stole everything! It was a very old complex and I will NEVER RENT THERE AGAIN! Vacasa WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST IVE EVER EXPERIENCED! Horrible communication!!!

Will be back to Orange Beach

Before I list the minor issues I had, it was a good experience, good location, heated pool, clean property and beach. Check in experience was not clean as the 3 digit apartment number was not shared. The security person does not have a mapping between apartment name and number. Took 25 mins to get one after a long long drive. The locking mechanism of the apartment was complicated, at times it would take 10 attempts to lock the apartment back. Finally the dishwasher was not working.

Perfect location in a smaller condiminum

I wish they would update this listing to show that there is a sofa bed so you actually sleep 5-6. Had I known there was a pack n play & a stool there I wouldn't have brought mine. Overall loved this stay! 3 pools plus a kiddie pool & quick beach access. A condominium is being built right beside it so that makes for a noisy time on the beach but you can't hear it inside. You also rent chairs & umbrellas from a man right in front of the condo on the beach. The business is ALbeachchairs.com. now that I know all this I will be packing less next year!
