Yes, Orange Beach powder white sand is right down the street! A five minute walk to a protected light will land you on the beach or the bar, but if you have little ones you may want to drive across to the Cotton Bayou beach access and pay $10/day for easy parking. Many other beautiful beaches are right within your reach, under the pass towards Perdido Key or the opposite direction towards Gulf Shores. And if nature is what you are here for, you will be in heaven biking or walking our 26 miles of trails through protected marshlands and parks. Other wildlife can be found at countless fun bars and fantastic restaurants, by land and by water! OWA and the Wharf with their many attractions and concerts is close, and of course FloraBama and The Gulf restaurant/bars are still great options just a few miles away...with new CoastAL's beachside bar/dining and live music also now only steps to get to. In fact, our whole area has probably changed quite a bit since your last visit! With improvements to roads, walkways and more new shops and eateries coming, the city is better than ever and hosting festivals and events year round Calendar of Upcoming Events in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach.
