This spacious 3 bedroom is located on the 26th floor of the C (West) tower and has a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico. Our unit was has a private hot tub on the balcony and a gas grill. Turquoise Place is the most luxurious property along the Gulf Coast. Large 3 bedroom / 3.5 bath unit with a gas grill and a hot tub on YOUR balcony directly over looking the Gulf of Mexico from the 26th floor! Amazing views! The property offers , 2 indoor pools, outdoor pools, 300 ft water slide with splash pad and putting green, lazy river, state of art fitness facilities, saunas, steam rooms, community hot tubs, poolside bar & grill (seasonal) , entertainment, 6 elevators , covered parking. You name it- we've got it all here! (Slide, splash pad, and putting green expected to open March 2024! This unit sleeps 10 with 2 king beds , two full beds and a sofa sleeper. We have a fully stocked kitchen. Televisions in every room, SOAKING tub and separate shower in master bath, comfortable patio furniture. This is YOUR perfect beach getaway! When you make your reservation , you are only paying for one. We will reach out to you before your visit to see if you need another. We will send you a link at a later date to pay. If you have more than 2 cars, you will need to speak to security at check in for options. IF you need a 3rd pass or more , you will be able to work with security (on arrival) no advanced reservations can be made. IF there is availability , security will sell you additional pass. There will be a daily fee for the extra pass starting at $35 per day-paid to security. Jacuzzi tub in the master bath only serves as a large soaking tub. The jets are inoperable. Listed below is additional information about the hot tubs on the balcony and the common area hot tubs as well , provided directly from the Condo Owner Association mgmt team who manage ALL hot tubs. Dear Turquoise Guest, Turquoise boasts multiple pools and the largest number of hot tubs of any resort along our Gulf Coast.We want you to know the risks associated with hot tubs as well as the dos and don’ts of using our water facilities. First off, Turquoise has an Aquatics Team of more than a dozen full time staff dedicated t0keeping our facilities clean. We have worked with the Alabama Department of Public Health to implement a water management plan which includes rigorous, daily maintenance and testing to manage these risks. Your cooperation in allowing our Aquatics Team to inspect, clean, test, and maintain our water facilities is appreciated. As a guest here it is important to know what you should and shouldn’t do in our water facilities,including those in our private residences. Comply with all posted signs regarding use. If a hot tub or pool is closed, do not use that facility. If a facility is closed it will have a notice posted. When we treat the facilities, there may be a period in which it shouldn’t be used. If this happens during your stay you will be notified, so please follow those guidelines. All of our water facilities should have an odor of chlorine or bromine which is used in our cleaning process. This traditional ‘bleach’ like smell is normal and indicates proper treatment. Please do not spit, urinate, engage in sexual activity or defecate in the water facilities including those in the private residences. If you detect any unusual objects, discoloration, odor or have a question about using a facility, Despite your attention and our best efforts, there may still be a chance of contracting an infection from use of water facilities, especially for individuals with certain health risks. Use of water facilities should be done with consideration of underlying health conditions regardless of sanitation or cleaning protocols.While a number of organisms can live in hot tubs, the greatest concern is from Staphylococcus aureusand Legionella pneumophila. Legionella pneumophila commonly known as Legionella can cause Legionnaires’ disease and Pontiac Fever. Legionnaires’ disease is a potentially life-threatening pneumonia that usually requires medical treatment with antibiotics. Legionnaires is only spread through the aeration of water like the misting steam from a bubbling hot tub. Legionella does not infect everyone but people with the greatest risk of contracting Legionnaires’ disease are adults over 50, current or former smokers, and people with a weakened immune system or chronic disease. Persons who have cancer or are undergoing treatment for cancer can be at increased risk as well. Additional information is available via the Alabama Departmentof Public Health at: www.alabamapublichealth.gov/infectiousdiseases/assets/legionella\_flyer.pdf.Staphylococcus aureus commonly known as staph, can cause skin a soft-tissue infections such as abscesses, furuncles, and cellulitis. Although most Staph infections are not serious, Staph can cause very serious infections in people with open wounds, who are immune compromised, who have cancer or who are undergoing treatment for cancer. In the worst cases, these infections can result in hospitalization. Hot tubs are a breeding ground for other bacteria including E. coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which can cause gut infections, diarrhea, septicemia, respiratory and skin infections. Among people who are immune compromised these risks are magnified. Knowing the risks associated with and knowing when to avoid a hot tub is important. If you or any of your guests or family members have any of the risk factors described above you should consider avoiding water facilities, especially hot tubs. \* Hot tub closure can happen at anytime and remain unavailable until determined safe by the COA. The condo looked like it had been decorated from the thrift store, you can just tell it's an investment property and needs to be paid attention to at the price point that is Turquoise place. The floors were also so dirty that they turned our feet black daily. Maintenance came a few times and did not give us a heads up upon their arrival, one time waking the kids from their naps. Views were stunning. Hot tub on deck and grill are great. The rug in the living room is filthy and needs to be replaced. NOT the rug in the picture. ALL of the towels are stained and no longer white. Need to be replaced badly. The pillows in the master smell like dirty hair and have stains and need replaced. There wasnt a very good job done cleaning before we arrived; crumbs under the dining table, and we didnt eat there. The property is great. The condo needs some attention. ##### Angela V. The condo was beautiful and our view of the beach was amazing. It was very spacious and fit our family group very well. There was a few frustrating things that arose during our stay that did make it less desirable. The biggest drawing feature was a private hot tub on the balcony, however although the hot tub was set on 104 degrees, it was not fully heating up to that temperature and was not pleasant to get in. Since the condo hot tub was not working we had to use the main one in the indoor pool area. One other thing that drew us to this condo was the large master jacuzzi tub and the other jacuzzi tub in the other bathroom. However, on our first night when the master tub was to be used the jets, shower head and lights for the tub did not work at all. The jets in the other tub worked very briefly and then cut off. Not only did they cut off they filled the tub will build up and old mildewed water build up. I immediately messaged the host of these issues to bring to their attention and they did respond within a timely manor. Someone with maintenance was sent out to check on the issues. It was said that the spare tub was fixed but that master tub needed a part ordered and it would be 6 weeks. On the second night the spare tubs jets did come on, they cut back off and then once they turned back on they would not turn off. We had to flip the breaker to kill the jets on the tub. We were disappointed about the tubs but did not let it ruin our stay!! ##### Shawnel H. It was a nice place and very spacious. We love Orange Beach and making memories with our family and friends. This was our first time staying at Turquoise Place and we LOVED it! The atmosphere and amenities were great ! We loved the pools, activities and the bar area too. The condo was a great fit for our group (my family of 5 and friends family of 4). A few suggestions would.be the hot tub maintenance possibly communicating better and giving a heads up if it will not be available for a certain amount of time. There were a lot of bugs on the porch and in the living room. The big rug in the living room could probably be washed good and sprayed for bugs too! Also a few things like toilet paper , trash bags and a sponge would be nice to have a lil starter kit , fortunately I brought stuff from home but would be nice to have a back up toilet paper for 4 toilets . The room was just as nice in person as it appears in the listing pictures. The room was large and very well cleaned. The property manager, Leigh, was very responsive to our questions and welcoming upon our arrival. I will recommend this room to everyone. ##### Natalie B.
