The elegant villa Sušanj is located in Matulji, a small town in the immediate vicinity of Opatija. The air-conditioned 220 m² interior offers 4 modernly furnished bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, enough for up to 8 people. The villa boasts a top-quality finish, a heated outdoor pool, a jacuzzi, and an enchanting garden, all located within 2 kilometers from the beach. Better yet, the villa is pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry companion.   
  
On the lower level, there is a room with a contemporary design including a sitting area and a dining area, as well as a kitchen fully outfitted with appliances. The use of light colours and wood features throughout all the spaces create an open and inviting atmosphere. The air-conditioned sitting area boasts a comfortable sofa accommodating 8 guests and is equipped with a smart TV, making it ideal for movie nights or socializing with board games. The dining space features a spacious table that can seat 8 people and includes a high chair if needed, while the fireplace adds to the overall warmth of the space. You will admire the kitchen, equipped with a glass-ceramic stove for its contemporary appearance and wooden accents.   
  
Chic and simple bedrooms with double beds are situated both downstairs and upstairs - 2 of them on the ground floor and 2 upstairs. To ensure that your stay in the villa is as comfortable as possible, all rooms have air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. The corresponding bathrooms have a contemporary minimalist design like the rest of the interior, equipped with walk-in showers and hair dryers. You can pack for your holiday with ease, as the bathrooms are fully stocked with toiletries.   
  
Villa Sušanj's lovely garden, which spans 1500 m² and features greenery and spaces for relaxation and socializing, is one of its primary assets. Take a dip in the heated saltwater pool and bask in the Mediterranean sun on the sundeck, which accommodates 8 sunbeds and features an outdoor shower. Enjoy a relaxing break amidst nature at the covered wellness area, equipped with a hydromassage pool for up to 5 people. After unwinding, you can sizzle up a tasty meal on the gas grill and relish it along with your loved ones on the covered terrace. Here you will find an outdoor dining table for up to 10 people. There is also an additional lounge area for up to 4 people by the pool. In addition to the spacious lawn that your pet is sure to enjoy, the property has parking for 5 vehicles, suitable for sports cars with a low clearance.   
  
The town of Matulji is located less than 3 kilometres from the centre of Opatija, so while you're staying at Villa Sušanj, you can drive just a few minutes to one of Opatija's beautiful beaches. You can also explore Opatija's cultural and historical monuments or simply enjoy a walk along the Lungomare promenade along the Adriatic Sea. Lovran, another tourist town worth visiting, is only 10 kilometres away. Nature lovers and those seeking an active holiday will be thrilled by Matulji's cycling and hiking paths, stretching over 150 kilometres through pristine forests, unique viewpoints and along the antique fortresses of Matulji's hinterland. Make sure to visit the nearby Učka Nature Park, which is a must-see for those who adore natural beauty. Conclude your adventure with a meal at one of the local taverns, where the local specialities will satisfy even the most demanding palates.
