This holiday home is situated in Onemana village and offers a cosy and chill home for those needing to head to the beach over summer but don't want to get caught up in masses of beachgoers. Sleeping 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, making this is a great base for your family. Furnished and fitted with everything you might need from the BBQ on the sundeck for dinners hot off the grill and even a fireplace if you're planning a winter stay. When you get home from a great day treating yourself to the adventures on offer in the Coromandel, you can show off your cooking prowess to in the fully equipped kitchen and bring everyone together for a meal in the open plan living and dining room! The white sand of Onemana Beach is just a 5-minute walk - be sure to pack the sunscreen. Head to Cafe Onemana for a good coffee to start the day or if you don't feel like cooking at the end of the day. Ready to host your escape - Welcome to Bluebird Bach! It was also great that the property was dog-friendly.Unfortunately, the cleanliness on arrival was disappointing. There were cobwebs, thick dust throughout, and the house smelled like it had been locked up for a long time. We spent the first two days deep cleaning and airing it out.The photos made the house look much better than reality. The outdoor deck is completely rotten, the house shakes a lot, and the planting and trees were very overgrown. Windows and joinery were filthy, and overall the property felt poorly maintained.We understand it’s peak season in the Coromandel, but for what we paid, the experience felt like a rip-off. ##### Alexia A. If the owners pay Bachcare to look after this property, Bachcare should be ashamed of themselves. 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 nights, 4 people. An empty soap dispenser in the bathroom. Superficially clean, but don't look under the chairs, or in the drawers and cupboards. Sticky dust around the tv, and on top of the washing machine. Stuff lying around randomly in drawers. It really needs a good scrub all over, including the windows and chopping down some large overhanging leaves outside. Kitchen quite well equipped, and beds and bedding very comfortable. A few pieces of firewood were supplied, but we found more under the house, which is great if you stay in winter. No firelighters or anything to properly light the fire, so we got our own stuff.
