Balcony outside furniture had a broken table another table had peeling paint. Inside, it had a musty smell throughout, with old clutter stuffed into wardrobes. Almost all furniture & appliances appeared to be at end of their useful life. Bathroom was dreadful. Gloomy, shower didn't work properly & just unpleasant. Didn't want to spend any time in there. Stayed in many locations across nz & this is easily the worst. When we walked into this graciously apportioned property, the incredible view from the back porch took our breath away. Comfy beds, plenty on room, a great kitchen and did I mention the VIEW !!!! We have been in NZ for almost 2 months on both islands; this has got to be the nicest property we have stayed at yet. And the hosts are just as great as the view. A property like this in the US would cost 4 or 5 times as much, but the chances of ever getting a booking would be almost zero - that’s how great this bach is. Our only regret is not having a few more days (weeks?) to stay here. This place sets the standard for all the others to catch . ##### Joseph T.
