"Come here for authentic Nicaraguan lifestyle. Simple bedrooms, cold showers and Mom's cooking. Mark is very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Mark hosts every meal and invited guides to inform us about hiking the volcanoes and arranged a 4-wheeler to come directly to the hostel which was very convient. "There were 4 of us staying with Katia and Yves. We had an absolutely amazing stay! Katia and Yves are wonderful hosts. Not only did they make you feel right at home, but they were extremely accommodating. They drove us in and out of town at any time of day which was perfect. "I was very happy with the choice of staying at this place. I stayed for two months and was able to cook. The beds were comfortable and the space felt large. There is a large front porch with rocking chairs that has views of the mountains. So when it rains you can still hang out on the porch. The sunset clouds are so beautiful. There is the most wonderful local family that overseas the property. The only downside is the road up to the place is really rough."

"Absolutely beautiful place! We stayed three nights. The location was close to a lot of great places on the island. It was fun driving through the banana farms each time we came/left. The beach was stunning and completely empty so we had the entire beach to ourselves. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck at night and drinking wine. We loved that the room had a mini fridge, coffee maker and AC. We hope to come back."
