The Resort at Squaw Creek has been rated by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the nation’s Top 5 Resort Spas. Along with ski-in/ski-out access to Squaw Valley USA, this stunning resort has an 18-hole championship golf course, two heated swimming pools, two hot tubs, private tennis courts, as well as a seasonal ice rink, and 18 kilometers of cross-country skiing terrain. In winter, go skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or dog sledding. In warmer months, hit the Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf course, explore the resort’s nature trail, go fly-fishing in the stocked trout pond, or rent bikes and cycle along the river. We definitely want to come back with our kids because the grounds and pools are awesome. Short walk to the main village and plenty of hiking on our summer trip. The only thing that we did not like is that when we checked out they hit us with over $500 of additional taxes and fees that are not included in the advertised price. When you “pay in full” before your arrival you expect that to be the total cost. There is nothing in the advertising that states that you pay for parking or that there are a ton more taxes and resort fees that you have to pay. If we had known it was going to be that much more we would not have booked it. I called Turnkey and they said they would get back to me within 24hrs with a refund. It has been more than a week and nothing. This is my first negative review for VRBO and not something I normally do. ##### Travis T. It had everything that we needed for our stay: microwave, refrigerator, toaster, dishware and silverware. Each room had its own bathroom and private entrance if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at a beautiful resort. Please note: Once you book the rental you will not be able to make any changes or get any refunds if your plans change unless you have trip insurance. I'm a professional bodybuilder and my show was supposed to be at the Resort but because of Covid, it got moved to Reno, NV. I was not able to cancel and it was a bit frustrating to deal through TurnKey text messaging to find out there was nothing I could do. Even though it was a bit inconvenient to travel to Reno from Squaw Creek, we still had a spectacular time because the hotel is exceptional and the suite met all our needs and actually was a great place to stay. ##### Karrie A.
