Olustee Vacation Packages

The photos on the website show a newer hotel, this is an older hotel. The staff is excellent. The hotel has poor air circulation in hallways and none in elevator.

It was clean and at a good location.

Try to go to this location every year during the summer. Some things have changed for the better and some not so great but we always enjoy our time at Amelia Island.

Location clean and a lot of restaurants near ,

The lamp in the room was so dusty it wasn't a just one day not cleaned item. There was a dead ant in the sink and hair in the shower. If if had been just one thing, I could have overlooked it but all three, that's a dirty room. Also the pool was full of bugs. I was told it was closed the day before for cleaning... didn't look it. When I was getting ready to leave the pool I left a few things on my chair and went to the ladies room to change. A staff member stopped me to point out the things on the chair and I replied that I knew that they were there and that I was going back for them as soon as I changed. She pushed the issue a second time and again I repeated that I was aware that the stuff was there and that I would take care of it. When she pushed the issue for the third time she went from being helpful to being harassing. I finally had to tell her that I didn't want to get my beach cover wet while I was changing into dry clothes and that is why I was not taking it into the bathroom with me. I should not have to explain myself in detail to hotel staff. It totally made me not want to stay at this hotel ever again. But to end on a good note, the breakfast was lovely!!!
