Very helpful staff, Marcela tries her best to make your stay worry-free. She was very good at arranging our tour and transportation especially when we were late coming back from Machu Picchu; she had someone pick us up at the train station. The hotel also packed breakfast for us when we left very early for our tour.

This hotel is a little gem. My advice is to arrive at night and walk out onto the balcony in the morning to see a 360 degree view of crazy tall mountains. Unbelievable. Pictures cannot communicate the depth of the view that you will have. The staff tries so very hard to please. You will see the effect they go to when you have your first breakfast. See the layout of fresh fruit and watch the chef fresh pressing all of the juice and you will understand how hard they try. I would advise you to feel safe as you walk the 7 blocks from plaza de armas. You are beginning to mix with the local population. If that scares you, this is probably not the hotel for you. The streets are very narrow in these Peruvian cities...it feels different than you may be used to. But again, we felt totally safe. It is just narrow and darker and takes an adjustment. Having stayed in Cusco, ollantaytambo is a nice shift...much quieter and slower paced with, as I mentioned above, just breathtaking views that you don't get in Cusco. Personally, aguas clients is sketchy. And so this is actually my favorite place to relax in peru

The hidden treasure of Ollantaytambo!
This is a very cute; extremely comfortable Inn in the small town of Ollantaytambo. The views were magnificent and the rooms were extremely comfortable. Our trip could have ended here and we would have been happy. The best thing about this place is the staff. They could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I highly recommend this place!

Quaint Hotel in Peru's Sacred Valley
The hotel is a smaller, family run, hotel adjacent to the Archaeological Park in Ollantaytambo, Peru. The personel are very professional and run a tidy operation. The manager greeted us in an authentically friendly manner and even allowed us to store our suitcases the day before we actually checked in since we had a trip to Machu Picchu. Breakfast was good with a variety of options.

Simply put a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious, sparkling clean and super comfortable. Free wifi and hot shower were great. The views from the upstairs patio were stunning. Breakfast was delicious with so much choice. Most of all, the service was outstanding, the staff was willing to go above and beyond - they arranged for my taxi, stored my bag, helped with directions/recommendations etc. I had a very memorable stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights and the location is great! Silvia at the front desk was AMAZING as well as the sweet couple that owns the place. They were very helpful in arranging tour and taxis for us at a better price than on the street. The view from the third floor was the best. Favorite city we stayed in during our trip.

Nice hotel - hidden charge
The hotel was great for our needs and clean. Only issue was that they charged us an extra $10 for a child when the booking was already for the three of us (2 adults and one 7 year old). Be prepared for the extra charges regardless of whether you tell them a kid is coming.

Gorgeous view
They were super attentive to our needs. Our room had a gorgeous view. The top terrace is lovely with a 360 degree view of the town and the ruins. They held our luggage for us and arranged a taxi ride. We were touched by how helpful they were. One thing to note is that they strongly prefer cash for all transactions but they do not have change for you so you'd better carry lots of coins with you (like when you buy water from them and such) Overall highly recommend!

wonderful stay
The Terrace rooms are spectacular. The views of the two mountains are just wonderful make time to sit on the terrace at all hours of the day we had 302 room and our friend had 3O3 room. They had great water pressure we did not leave the water running to get hot water. Comfortable beds clean rooms. How we got to the hotel is somewhat scary however the Service and staff Were so helpful and kind. The Area is perfectly safe we walked around at night. I would stay here again in a heartbeat but Hotel is absolutely beautiful flowers everywhere.

Most exquisite views for a tiny price!
Love, love, LOVED this place, the staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The location is EXCELLENT. And OH MY GOD the view, we have never stayed anywhere with such an incredible view. Mountains, ruins, starry sky, just unreal! We booked 2 extra nights here because we found it just magical! Highly recommend staying here whether or nit you are going to Machu Picchu!!

Intitambo is the perfect place to stay in Ollanta. The staff is very helpful, the breakfast is very good, the rooms are super clean and comfortable. The hotel also has a rooftop with an amazing view to the Archeological site.

The price is worth of what you get.
The hotel is centrally located, only a couple of minutes walk to the main Plaza. They accept payment either cash or Visa card only. The view of the rooftop is amazing.

Great location within walking distance of ruins and train station. Amazing views looking right at the ruins from the top porch, and beer, soda and snacks were available to purchase from reception. Breakfast was good and water and tea were available throughout the day. Staff was helpful with tips and information. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Cute hotel with great views
I stayed with my partner in this cute hotel in Ollantaytambo, and my parents stayed in another room. Staying here in the Sacred Valley was nicer than making a day trip on the many tour buses that come through. From the 3rd floor, you can see the ruins, the town, and the beautiful mountains. The room was clean and comfortable. Checking in was easy enough. However, the main drawback of this hotel (and perhaps others in the area) is access. You cannot take a taxi right up to the hotel, so be prepared to carry your bags through cobblestone streets. If you have altitude sickness, it might be difficult to climb up 3 floors to get the pretty view. Other minor issues with the room were that the curtains were flimsy and the rod would not stay up, and the shower head was not affixed properly to the shower. Only tiny shampoo packets are provided. Wifi was nonexistent in the rooms, but worked in the lobby. If you're cold, you can ask for a portable heater. Breakfast was standard. Overall, the general atmosphere of this hotel was charming despite the minor issues. Good value for the price.

Room with a view
Wonderful spacious room with a lovely shared terrace overlooking the ruins. Staff was friendly and when we checked in very early on our first day they invited us to sit down to breakfast - even though we were not actually entitled to breakfast that day. Short walk to town square and ruins.

An amazing hotel in the old Inca town. A wonderful view of the Ollantaytambo fortress from the rooftop terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good. Fresh fruit, cereals, pancakes and eggs. Loved it!

The location of this property was perfect! Just a 3 min walk to the main center. Shower was nice and hot with excellent water pressure, even with 2 of us showering back to back—this is very rare in Peru! The bed sheets and towels smelled soo good and clean. Staff was all very friendly and helpful!

Great location 3 min walk from main square and restaurants. The hotel is charming and the staff is great and will help you arrange taxis etc. There was no hot water until we asked them to turn it on and not enough toilet paper so we had to ask for that also. The room is a little cold at night time and although they provide good blankets, it is unpleasant to get out of the cold shower in a cold room. Good breakfast but the breakfast room is freezing cold so bring your down jacket.

Great hotel with a great view.
Very good hotel, great view of the inca ruins from the room terrace. Close to restaurants and bars. Only downside was the rooster that was quite noisy throughout the night.

Trying to keep the area and purpose of travel in perspective. We booked this location based on reviews that it was quiet at night and the rooftop terrace looked nice, which it was. It’s a bit of a walk from the train so if taking the train then will be difficult to find. Recommend getting a driver if coming from Cusco, arranged by the hotel for $40 US, it’s worth it. The hotel was adequate, I’m not sure if there are nicer hotels in the area but we like to travel with some comfort at our age. The girl at the front desk when we arrived had zero personality and could care less, Lindsey is the other person that works there and she’s awesome. There were little ants in the bathroom but didn’t say anything to them and they were gone the next day so think housekeeping noticed them too otherwise we would have. We had plenty of hot water and water pressure, housekeeping was great. The major downside was our room was right next to the construction/expansion of the hotel (complete Dec 2108) and we couldn’t open our curtain or the workers looked right in. They worked 8am - 5pm so was loud outside and dark inside. Our room was also right by the stairs and right below the 3rd floor bathroom so we could hear every time someone went potty. The breakfast was adequate for our needs and they got up early to pack us a lunch bag on the day we went to Machu Picchu which was super nice. Lindsey was helpful when we had questions, thankful for her.

Wonderful hotel, close to town!
This is a beautiful hotel with a roof top deck. It's right in the heart of the mountains. The people who run it are great! The one little annoying thing is it's a little noisy. Housekeeping is a bit loud and the roosters in town start up around 5am! I'd stay there again though for sure!!
