Alex and all the staff were very helpful and attentive. The location was great, a short walk to town and wonderful mountain views. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of blankets and pillows for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was included and the homemade bread was so delicious!! There was shampoo, soap and a blow dryer in the room. We took a Tuktuk to the train station that was set up by the hotel staff. They also had a driver pick us up from the airport! Will definitely stay again the next time we are in Peru! It's a little walk away from the main part of town, but not much at all. We were allowed to park our motorcycles inside, which was great. There is no AC, but it wasn't necessary with the windows open. Breakfast was good. Property is a good mile walk from the plaza de Arma and road pretty roughy to walk on, paved with random stones. It is out of the busy area and in a nice secluded area. You can see the Templo sel sol right behind you. The rooms are super clean, beds comfy and warm and the courtyard is such a treat. Alex goes out of his way to make you feel at home giving us tips for things to do and also arranging oue transport. We also stored our luggage! Leo served us the most amazing breakfast with local bread, buttery avocado, delicious cafe au lait and fresh oj. He found us a few blocks away from the hotel and without knowing where we were going, offered to help us and walked us the rest of the way. The check-in process was quick and he confirmed that in addition to the continental breakfast include, they also offered eggs, yoghourt, granola (for additional tip). The he walked us to our room to ensure it was ready for us. Clean, wide and with plenty of space for four adults, we enjoyed the hot shower at the end of a day of hiking. The pictures are updated and accurate and even if the hotel is 5 minutes away from the city center, the peace and quiet at night were amazing. The Ollantaytambo archeological site is right in front (5 minutes away).
