« Clean and comfortable. Communication impeccable. Well maintained, felt right at home. Lake is beautiful. Few days away from the rat race and this was just the place. Everyone needs this in their life once in a while. Highly recommend. »

« The house was very clean, well taken care of, and stocked with everything we needed. (In the main house there were a few more stairs than we were aware of, and a few very narrow and steep staircases which made it a bit more difficult for one of our family members who recently had broken a few ribs to get around, but not a deal breaker by any means) The pool was excellent (but could use a little shade - we were all vying for space under the one umbrella)Overall we had an excellent stay. »

« We had a fabulous family Thanksgiving vacation at Rocking Horse Acres! The house was clean and well appointed. We loved the living room with the wood burning fireplace and we made a huge Thanksgiving meal in Amy’s well appointed kitchen. Everyone had a most enjoyable stay. Thank you!! »

« The host/property manager was communicative, responsive and all around wonderful. This property was perfectly located for the sites that we were visiting around De Sales University. The property was clean and as described. I do want to note that one of the bathrooms is a half bath with no shower and that the house is nestled between two senior living buildings and a busy route 378. Wonderful stay regardless!! »

« The host was super communicative, thorough and helpful! Check in process was smooth and the space is large, family-friendly with lots of options for sleeping with bunkbeds. It was too cold to hang out outside, but there was a playground and ample outdoor space for the kids to run around. There was also a bunch of toys in the finished basement, which was a nice touch. The kitchen was fully outfitted with utensils and dishes, just bring your own coffee! We would definitely book again! »

« In August 2025 we had the perfect family vacation at the River House. My family of 9, ranging in age from 9 to 77, spent 5 nights in Joan’s beautiful house. I am in a wheelchair and have never stayed at a more handicapped accessible rental. Joan was helpful and gracious and when my bed was too high, she helped us work out a perfect solution and the elevator to all four floors was a lifesaver. « A magical stay with everything you could possibly need »

« Perfect place for our visit to the areafor Dorney Park (about a 15 minute drive) and Knoebel (a longer drive but worth it!). Closeto lots of restaurants and stores. The house is a great size- more than enough space for our family of 4 (mom, dad, 18 & 21 yr old sons). Very clean, had who we needed. Barrington was a great host, checked on us each day to make sure things were going well! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you! »

« We were in town for a wedding and this was close and convenient to the event. This is basically a nice row house with 5 bedrooms on 3 floors with two very small bathrooms. Very clean and nicely amended with an updated kitchen which we did not use since we were just there overnight. Lots of stairs so if that’s an issue I would not recommend but it was perfect for my family. »
