      Absolutely fabulous family run hotel. It's a nice central location making it easy to get to many of the sites and great restaurants in the neighbourhood. We had to leave a day early because we were there when the Covid19 crisis was just starting. They were very understanding and accommodating about our early departure. As well, my wife has a pineapple allergy and even though it was a different kitchen and serving staff every day, they clearly talk to each other as the prepared fruit plate for each breakfast after telling them the first morning didn't have pineapple. If we get back to Havana in the future, this will be our first choice for a place to stay!…

      A very lovely international standard hotel in a good location. We stayed in a comfortable colonial room with small balcony for watching the world. A very attractive main lobby/bar area & fabulous roof top bar/pool. Breakfasts were good with a large selection (including bacon), as was food from the bar menu (they serve chips too – the rest of Cuba serves rice & beans which is OK until you’ve been in Cuba for a while!) We stayed in this hotel for 3 days prior to leaving Cuba due to the coronavirus. Due to a government announcement we were not able to leave the hotel for our entire stay. We were so pleased to be locked into this hotel (rather than others) and would definitely recommend staying here. …

      The hotel was beautiful as you walked in. Old world beauty. The rooms & furniture are basic. The bed was very low to the ground and did not have box springs or did not have a mattress. Not sure which piece was missing. Nonetheless we slept soundly. Common areas have no AC. Only the rooms. The bath and shower are extremely slippery. Be careful when wet! Could not flush the toilet multiple times within a few hours. Tank apparently was very slow to fill. But yes we would stay there again. Old world charm. With nice buffet breakfast. …
