Great Location 119 Morrow Point Rd Old Forge, NY The Hilltop Hideaway is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath chalet style home with a view of First Lake. This is the perfect Adirondack getaway on a quiet dead-end right road off Hollywood Rd. On the 1st floor there is the master bedroom with a queen size bed. Up the spiral staircase are 2 bedrooms with full sized beds. The private yard offers a natural fire pit and lots of room to relax and unwind. The outdoor deck space offers vast area for outdoor entertaining. There is plenty of parking space available. It is just a short distance to the Hollywood Hills Association beach (approx 1/2 mile) docks and boat launch where you can enjoy even more of what the area has to offer! Minutes away from downtown Old Forge where there are numerous restaurants, shops, stores and attractions for all ages! Includes cable & WiFi & outdoor camp firewood. Comfortable and well-kept, it has a rustic, no-frills charm. The first photo is outdated; as seen in other pix the spacious living room has a sofa, recliner and two arm chairs. The attractive log furniture throughout suits the setting perfectly. We made use of the gas fireplace to chase the chill of rainy mornings and evenings. We found exactly what we wanted in this cozy chalet. The house was described accurately; we had everything we needed whether it was making meals or extra blankets to cozy up on the comfortable couch. The house was big enough for our two teens to have their alone time yet close enough that we still felt together. The neighbors we met on walks were kind and showed us around the area. My daughter and I stayed at Carl’s place for a few days to see the eclipse. The chalet is absolutely lovely and we loved waking up each morning to the sunrise & the trees and the view of the lake…it was magical.
