It was a great location, only a 5 min drive to OF, and on the beautiful channel. The house was clean and had everything you could think of stocked in the kitchen. With 2 small bedrooms and 1 bath, it is on the cozy side but if you are spending a lot of time outdoors, there is plenty of space to enjoy. All one floor living made it easy for my elderly mom. The kitchen is fully equipped for whatever you will need. (Didn’t need to bring so much with us). It rained a little everyday at some point, but it was very relaxing watching all the boats go by. The fire pit area was beautiful and they provided the wood. This was the perfect place for my wife and me to unwind and connect with nature.. I have been coming to Old Forge during the summer for 35 years, but have never been during the Fall leaf season. It was less crowded and even more beautiful, and this cabin on the water was perfect. The location was ideal, A few minutes from town, on the channel and only a few houses away from First Lake. The place was immaculate, thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, and made a fantastic use of the space. The owners had a great welcome video to guide you through the nuances of the cabin, and were very attentive and willing to answer any questions befor or during our stay.
