Rude staff...

Posted 22-May-2017
Room was clean, but fell in shower with young daughter. When brought it to the hotels attention, requested no slip mat placed in shower, my request was ignored, and told it should already be nonslip.... clearly it was not.

A Good Find for the Price

Posted 1-May-2017
Pros: The price.
Cons: The tv was pretty obsolete, didn't try the wifi.
Location: Very conventient to anyone using Olathe Hospital. For us it was close to grandkids and that is all we were looking for.
I was looking for a one night stay while visiting adult children. My usual hotels were priced in the $150 dollar range for the night I was staying. Since we were only looking for a bed to sleep in I wasn't willing to fork over that much money. This hotel was clean and reasonably priced with a good location for us in Olathe. The room was smaill but as I said we were only sleeping and it worked well. Check in was friendly and efficient, breakfast pretty standard for this chain.

No hot water in the shower. Dirty glass doors.

Posted 15-Apr-2017
Upon entrance, the glass front doors were dirty. The location I was told to park in was around to the side of the building beside a junk car. My room was first right off lobby. Very easy access through the front office. No hot water in shower in the morning. The report from front desk was the water heaters were 'recycling' and temp was up to 100 degrees. I was charged for the second night but I did not stay there. Poor customer interaction.

Place to sleep

Posted 26-Feb-2017
Pros: The people were nice
Cons: need to get the person who puts out food gloves so she doesn't touch the food you eat. shower stickers on the floor
The previous reviews on this place are correct!! We stayed here for a funeral in Olathe, Ks. The towels feel like sandpaper, the pillows are like pancakes and only 3 to a room don't cut it for 2 people. The showers that are in the rooms you had better watch it because they are so slick I almost fell in it, used a hand towel for a shower mat inside the shower. The bed was so hard and all they had on the bed was a bottom sheet, top sheet, blanket then another sheet. The strobe like in the shower couldn't handle it caused migraines. The heater/air conditioner wouldn't keep it warm unless you turn it up to above 80 degrees then it got too hot in the room. The door I could almost look out on the side into the hallway that was the nightlight for the room had light coming all around it. House cleaning didn't really clean the room meaning had a wash cloth that I used for cleaning makeup off of my fingers they just put it back up on the rack. The breakfast was fine until I saw the lady put food up with her fingers no gloves on she would use the microwave then go take donuts put them into the place with her fingers same with the bread, muffins, biscuits. There were no tongs to take the items out of their place so I used a fork not my fingers. No pool it was under maintenance. The tv had a high pitched squeal to it.

Not good

I won't stay here again...there's a reason why the parking lot is empty.

The beds were dilapidated. We suffered with back pain for several days after we left. Also...the shower smelled like urin. The toilet was not secured to the floor. Would tip every time you used it. For the amount we paid for each night... It could have been much better.

I was a little upset about the room "incidentals" charge on my card until I checked out... it wasn't explained to me properly before my card was charged. Other than that the service was good, continental breakfast was good, and conveniences were close by.

Thank you kindly for the business and taking the time to contact us. We have a fully refundable key deposit. We have the most up to date and secure rfid key entry system deployed. The rfid keys are pricy so we ask that our guests kindly return the keys for a 100% refund. No other incidentals are charged. Thanks again. GM

The stay was fine. The bathroom for broke was not accomidating to fix it. And elevator smelled like something had died in it.

It was tolerable. A bit pricey for such a "budget" experience, tho. Sadly, the free breakfast was inedible. Stale breads, quasi-omelettes that were prepackaged and looked like leftover World War 2 rations (way too scary to even open, much less eat), etc. Very disappointing. The refrigerator in my room halfway blocked the door and didn't work. TV was the old tube kind and had very distorted sound. Desk staff were very nice and helpful though.

Poor Management

Posted 4-Feb-2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Customer service
Location: Easy access to the highway, lots of places to eat, etc.
Shortly after we checked into our room another guest was made a key to our room and walked in while we were changing for the pool. We confronted the front desk and were told "I didn't know I could make more than one key for a room or even check the same room out to two people". We asked to speak with a manager to see what could be done as this was unacceptable. We still have yet to hear from the manager even after leaving a voicemail and stopping by the desk at various times both days we stayed. The pool was supposed to have a hot tub but it was removed and the pool itself was freezing. Would not recommend this to anyone else for poor quality of service.
