We are a family of 4 visiting other family, who's son plays football for OU. We arrived for a two night stay, and got there around 3pm in the afternoon.
On checkin, all the lady did was give us our keys, and didn't even bother to tell us how to get to our room. We had to figure it out, which wasn't to big of a deal, but it was the first sign of the lack of service we experienced. The first night, we called and asked for extra pillows, and we were told there was only one left. In over 40 years of traveling, I've honestly never been told that there was only one pillow left. We all looked at each other and called BS. On top of that, we actually had to go to the front desk to pick them up, as well as the extra towels, which we asked for, because there was only 2 bath towels in the room, for 4 people. I mean you would think if they knew 4 people were coming, they would stock the room appropriately, right?
The lack of service was abysmal, and frankly inexcusable for a room that was over $115 a night, with taxes and fees. And, to top it all off, we never saw their "continental breakfast" at all. We were never told about it, or where it was, and with the absolute crappy service, we wouldn't have eaten there, even if they did.
It was an older property, and smelled like it. The sheets were clean, but one had a cigarette burn and one had a cut/tear in it. I would definitely not stay there again, nor any other Days Inn. Wyndham should be embarrassed to represent a property like this.
