The sign on the building is in Japanese only, so you're out of luck if you don't read Japanese. The room itself was clean and good wifi. Walking distance to the train station and the tram line are short, and there are plenty of convenience stores around. The breakfast was western and simple; one frankly does not need more than that. One concern is security. Anyone can access the lift on the 1st floor (road level) although check in and the lobby are on the 2nd floor. We especially liked the elevator that took you straight from the street up to your room floor, the laundry and vending machine area (which happened to be opposite our room) unexpected breakfast each day with the most amazing salted eggs, as well as baked goods and vegetable and orange juices. The staff were all so friendly and hospitable, especially the lovely lady who worked in the breakfast area. You have to make sure your window is closed properly if your room is located on the side of the main road near the traffic light, otherwise it starts sounding like a cuckoo clock that is very annoying every time it goes off! Once we realised the windows could be even more securely shut, that dulled the noise somewhat. Also the bed was a little small for us as we are not wide people, but we are pretty tall with long limbs, however the bedding was cosy at least. The room was a great size, with space for two comfy chairs and a small table, as well as a larger desk area, but the bathroom was on the smaller side. The hotel is located in a great spot with amazing dining options - a restaurant is right downstairs, as well as a convenience store, plus a multitude of other dining options around this area.
