Great location. 5 minute walk from Okayama station and about 15 minutes from Okayama castle. Great food all around.

The hotel would be considered quite dated by some, but we thought that added to the charm of it! We especially liked the elevator that took you straight from the street up to your room floor, the laundry and vending machine area (which happened to be opposite our room) unexpected breakfast each day with the most amazing salted eggs, as well as baked goods and vegetable and orange juices. The staff were all so friendly and hospitable, especially the lovely lady who worked in the breakfast area. You have to make sure your window is closed properly if your room is located on the side of the main road near the traffic light, otherwise it starts sounding like a cuckoo clock that is very annoying every time it goes off! Once we realised the windows could be even more securely shut, that dulled the noise somewhat. Also the bed was a little small for us as we are not wide people, but we are pretty tall with long limbs, however the bedding was cosy at least. The room was a great size, with space for two comfy chairs and a small table, as well as a larger desk area, but the bathroom was on the smaller side. The hotel is located in a great spot with amazing dining options - a restaurant is right downstairs, as well as a convenience store, plus a multitude of other dining options around this area. It was great to be able to walk to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden from the hotel as well, and it wasn't too far from the main train station.

Excellent Location
The hotel's location is superb. Walking distance to the train station and the tram line are short, and there are plenty of convenience stores around. The breakfast was western and simple; one frankly does not need more than that. One concern is security. Anyone can access the lift on the 1st floor (road level) although check in and the lobby are on the 2nd floor. So an outsider can directly access any floor and room thereafter without being stopped, notwithstanding that CCTVs would pick up his/her movements.

Convenient location and clean budget hotel
It is not a luxury hotel so we didn't have any big expectations. Very small room and tiny bathroom. However, it is very clean and The location is very convenient. The room got very hot at some point but we guess we turned on what they call AC which might actually have been a heater? We are not really sure. The breakfast is simple but they have freshly baked pastry and bread. We enjoyed it.

Great hotel in convenient location to train station. Clean and good size but air conditioning was turned to hot only - too hot for us do they gave us a fan. Very good service.

Usual Japanese hotel
It is a typical Japanese hotel. It offers a water boiler, a fridge, centralized lights control, washlet toilet, good Wi-Fi, etc. The hotel location is very convenient as it is close to the Okayama station for local and Shinkansen trains. Breakfast starts at 6:30. My room had views to the main street.

It's ok for very short stay
Twin beds are very comfortable but room is very dated with very small wardrobe and bathroom space. TV options limited to only Japanese channels. Option to make tea in room but no instant coffee avaible outside breakfast room. Laundry facility and WiFi are good and staff very helpful even though English is limited

Short stay
The room was better than expected with a good stret view, an opening window and reasonably priced. It was convenient to the Shinkansen station and there were cafes nearby Breakfast was fine for a juice, coffee and danish eater but it wouldn't satisfy a trencherman. Staff - as they seem to be at all Japanese hotels I've stayed in - were efficient, friendly and willing to assist even when English language was limited. Overall a god experince

Comfortable business hotel close to Okayama Railwa
Friendly staff at reception and around the hotel. Just a few minutes walf from the Railway Station. Compact room with few amenities abut clean and well set up. Breakfast range limited but adequate。Overall good value for money.

Great location, free breakfast.
I stayed here 4 nights and 5 minute walk to station and nearby to stores, restaurants, buses and streetcar to get to castle and garden. Was able to leave bag at reception all day after check out. Quiet for sleeping as double glazed windows even though on main road which can be opened for fresh air. Bed ok. Only Japanese on TV. Free breakfast of boiled eggs, pastries, rolls, soup, juice,tea was ok. Asked at reception for another pillow and got a foam one but still pretty hard but that is the style in Japan. Kettle would not turn off automatically and replaced quickly. The sleep gown provided was polyester, not cotton as is normal, so did not use it. Also you can't sleep in after 7.30am as they start to clean rooms after that, so you can hear corridor noises but not vacuuming. Hardest part is finding it to check in as no English signage on street. When leaving station, walk on right hand side of road. Past Century 21 real estate office then just before the next street there are 2 sets of escalators to reception on level 2. If you get to the street with canal just turn around and walk back a few steps. Recommended 3 star hotel.

Convenient place , just approx 5 min walk from Shinkansen station. Hotel is situated near cafes and restaurants which is convenient for dinner. Hotel pillow is quite unique and comfortable to lie your head on.

Convenient and comfortable hotel in Okayama.
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. As before, the staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean and tidy though the usual Japanese average size. A buffet style breakfast was included. The Okayama Station is a 5 minute walk and close by are cafes and restaurants. Reasonably close by tram is Okayama Castle and the adjacent scenic gardens. A highly recommended hotel.

Reception did not speak English very well. The room was small not much space to move around. Breakfast was very limited in what was there to consume. Overall it seemed like a hotel that was short on luxuries. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Clean overall - but old and dated. It wouldnt be my first choice; Internet intermittent and weak. Super pricy for what it is; they took advantage of a temporary room shortage and charged me double the normal costs. Will not stay again.

Some staff could have been more helpful.
Room is ok, typical japanese sized room. Heating is good in winter though it was slightly too warm for me so I opened the window slightly. Staff was quite helpful with maps and directions but was not able to help me return my wifi egg via post even though the envelope is already postage paid, i.e. just hand it over to their delivery man (which other hotels did). Breakfast was very simple but as it is free, it was ok.

Decent hotel in Okayama
The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of Okayama, near shopping district and museums. The room was a typical Japanese, business-style room with hard beds and no frills. However, the hotel offers extras like laundry room and free breakfasts of fresh-baked breads, boiled eggs and coffee. If driving parking is a little difficult. If using the train the hotel is a short cab ride away.

Close to Train Station, Great breakfast
The hotel is a couple blocks from the train station, directly down the main street. It is in good condition and very clean. The rooms were typically small as most Japanese rooms are. The stay includes a breakfast which was one of the better ones we had. They have a selection of freshly baked pastries, eggs, soup, juice. It is easy to catch the streetcar about a block from the hotel to take you anywhere in the city. Directly behind the hotel is a side street that is full of great restauraunts and shops and was a great lace to walk at night
