Location was a easy 10 minute walk from the train station. Check in was a breeze, staff super helpful and all this while there was some drama going on with a European guest. The hotel onsen uses Pola and Refa products. Probiotics drinks are available in the morning, ice-cream, and ramen are available in the evening - all free. Beddings are comfortable and rooms are relatively spacious and very quiet. There are toiletries for kids. Some good restaurants within walking distance - should go once they open or they will fill up very quickly with customers. Make reservations for dinner. If you stayed in one, you know pretty much what to expect in others. These are comfortable. The staff is polite and they are great value. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices and the spa very nice as well. I would stay here again. It's located just a few minutes walking from the Okayama JR station. And, it's a 25 minute walk to the Garden and Castle. Also, it's very close to many restaurants. You can't beat the location: Lots of shops and restaurants around such as Aeon Mall, Ichiban-gai (underground shopping area at the station), Takashimaya Department store. The Nishigawa Ryokudo Park (canal area) is nearby. Also, you can easily go to Okayama castle by using the street car. This popular hotel chain is known for its free hot spring, popsicles, and yonaki soba (ramen), in which my family didn't show any interest. What I loved about this hotel is its laundry area.
