Relaxing waterfront hotel

Posted 29-Jul-2016
But had to pay for the water front view, we had a standard unit which facing the parking lot. Bed sheet not so clean, room doors made squeaky noise. It's ok but just not worth the high rate.

Good scenic view and environment

Bed cover was not very clean with some smell as if not been changed in one of our room. The room door made very loud noise when open and closing.

Everything was great, but would've been nice to have more than one bar of soap in the bathroom & maybe Kurig cups for kids (hot cocoa).

Great hotel on the lake

Posted 23-Jun-2016
Pros: Big room, big bathroom. Very comfortable.
Location: Boat and jet ski rental at the hotel. Wineries close by.
Was very impressed with the room. Very clean and comfortable. The basic room was like a suite, with a kitchen and seperate bedroom. Huge bathroom. Hotel is right on the water. Very quiet and relaxing. The front desk clerk knew so much about the local wineries and had great recommendations.

Comfortable bed, nicety equipped kitchen and great pool and hot tub! I love the marsh area by the lakeshore with lots of birdsong.

I was in Summerland for a Wedding a wedding. The Hotel was great but I found the Hotel Staff to be extremely rued and not helpful... I travel the word and run a company that has 5 star reviews based out of Vancouver. I know what customer service is and unfortunately I will never stay there again nor recommend anybody to stay there. We spent a ton of money at the reason and would have spent more if we felt like we were being treated with respect. I've traveled the world and have stayed in endless hotels. This was the worst customer experience I have ever received.
