Okay Hotel

Posted 19-Sep-2016
The overall stay was satisfactory. The room & bed was very comfortable. However; we stayed there 2 nights and both days we had no coffee or cups in our room. The previously used coffee filter was still in the coffee pot & some of the outlets in our room didn't work. We also were given a room that is poolside which is okay but the chlorine smell was very strong.

Nice, quiet downtown hotel

Was upgraded on arrival to a penthouse suite. Lovely comfortable room(s). Huge comfy chairs to curl up in and watch TV. Full kitchenette. Too bad we could only stay one night.

Pros: Easily accessed along the highway as you drive into Kelowna.
Cons: Parking can be a bit challenging later in the evening. An outlet directly in the bathroom would have been useful.
Comfortable accommodations in the updated room for an overnight stay.

Great hotel! Close to restaurants and not too far from downtown. The rooms are spacious and clean. Perfect for a two night stay.

Didn't want to touch anything in the room

Posted 5-Sep-2016
We recently stayed a night at the Sandman Inn in Kelowna BC. We booked a Deluxe King Sized room assuming that would be a reasonably nice room. Upon entering the hotel there was a white leather couch that was filthy and has stains on in. We noticed that the carpet in the hall was quite soiled and had what looked like cigarette burns or something to that effect in it. When we reached our room the door to our room what all scratched and scuffed. The room was gross. Straight up gross. Every light switch had some sort of dirty, disgusting scum on it. The carpet in the room had some small stains on it. One of the throw pillows on the bed had a white stain on it. One of the other throw pillows had a reddish stain on it. The furniture in the room was badly abused. Chipped and smashed corners on the dresser under the TV. They tried to color in the chips on the wood with a sharpie or something. Not that it really matters but the TV was quite cheap and small. There were black scuffs on the walls. The crown moulding just sort of ended 3 inches from where it should have ended. My bedside lamp didn't work. We booked a non smoking room and found cigarettes on our step out deck. It was noisy. The bathroom had body and pubic hair left in it. There was urine on the side of the toilet. There was what I can only describe a big black booger stuck to the wall. The shower was scummy and mildewed. This was not in any way a deluxe room. I want my money back.

Fine hotel close to downtown Kelowna

Posted 31-Aug-2016
Overall was fine but when we got there our room was dirty and the staff had to change all the bedding in the room. The swimming pool is nice and warm and the jacoozie was good as well. Denny's was a nice restaurant and the staff there were very friendly!
