This does not warrant a 2 rating. You decided not to stay because other guests in the b and b had a child with them. You also were not honest with Expedia about the reason you cancelled.

We loved the location with beautiful views. Our room as well as the common area were very clean and nicely decorated. A very cozy home. For breakfast the hosts prepared breakfast on their beautiful balcony. The breakfast was amazing! Best breakfast I ever had in Canada. Eggs, Croissants, Bagels, scones, yoghurt and more. And on top of that we always had very nice conversations with the hosts. They were very accommodating, kind and made us feel at home. We will definitely come back.

The owners are really nice, I have absolutely no complaints there. Very friendly! I would just say that unfortunately, if you are wanting a quiet room, the one we had was not. It is not because of the hosts per se, but because even though the area was designed as a suite, it wasn't constructed with any soundproofing between the floors so you hear everything and the normal living sounds are therefore magnified. Our room was right below the main living area so you heard our footsteps, chairs moving, clanking because of the hardwood floors above. It wasn't loud when sleeping but we wanted to relax in the evening as well. I believe the other room (to the right of the stairs) would be quieter as there definitely were repeat visit guests that were there when we were and were quite happy. The bed was also too hard for me so I didn't sleep well. A feathered bed topping might help and carpet under the kitchen table and runners perhaps.

Thank you for staying at our b and b. It was Father's day and our daughter came with her children to have dinner - they were here from 5 - 6:30 and we were away the rest of the evening. Unfortunately the floors are not soundproof. Thank you for your suggestions.

Spacious accommodation and gracious hosts
Harmina and Tonie were gracious hosts. They met us outside and directed us to the parking space and made us feel very comfortable right away. The space is beautiful and what a lovely view of the mist coming off the little lake first thing in the morning . We wish our stay had been longer We only wish we hadn’t had such an early flight - we missed the breakfast :(

Amazing location and incredible service!
I stayed with my family (3 of us). We only stayed overnight, however, it was so nice to be able to have a beautiful, quite and relaxing place for us to just sit, chat and enjoy an evening on the patio. We showed up quite early having our day already planned and the owners were very accommodating so we could get on with our day without the worries of having to be somewhere out of the way at a specific time. We had the opportunity to meet another guest during the evening. This is one of the things that really set B&B's apart from Hotels - the guests are usually very friendly and welcoming. This gentleman joined us in relaxing outside and we all found we had soo much in common from nationality to business outlooks and goals. People are just so nice when they're away from the office. Our hosts were also super wonderful people and the next morning we all had a superb home-made big breakfast (nothing from McCains on the table). Anthonie and Harmina Jansen are wonderful people and great hosts. Make sure you eat everything Anthonie prepares - his skills are amazing! Paradise at Quail Ridge defines what it means to be one of the best B&B's. Definitely THE place to stay when in Kelowna!

We loved the location close to the airport and they even picked us up! It is very beautiful and breakfast upstairs on the deck was lovely. What a fantastic breakfast they served. To start off, the best part of our stay was Tony. Tony was a great host, very accommodating and friendly. He was a pleasure to be around and talk to.The location was great and super quiet. The reasons why our stay wasn't great: The wifi didn't work very well, the bed was very uncomfortable, the fan barely circulated air throughout the room and it was hard to sleep in the heat. Also, the first night there, the owners had their grandchildren over, which caused a lot of noise upstairs late at night. We didn't feel very welcomed from the start. Mostly because Harmina didn't really speak to us other than taking our payment when we first arrived, I assume this was because she found out we were from Surrey. I really, really wish I could say what other commenters had said about this place, but I just can't. We will not be staying here or at another B&B again.

Your comment in our guest book in the B and B was "Thank you for the lovely stay" so this review has caught us by surprise. We are so sorry you had a negative experience. Our previous guests have never commented that the bed was uncomfortable. This was the first warm weather we had in the area, and we turned the AC on before you arrived. It was not working to capacity. We have lived in Surrey for many years and loved it there. Raised our children there and some still live in the area. We have no ill feelings to anyone from Surrey. Unfortunately, Harmina was unwell and on medication so she could not socialize with you,. Tony enjoyed sitting with you over coffee. We do hope that you will try another B and B sometime.

This is a fabulous place to stay close to the Kelowna airport, but in a quiet golf community. It offers a private bedroom and bath with a shared living room and kitchen space. Though the kitchen area does not have a stove or oven, it includes a microwave, coffeepot, tea kettle, teas and coffee, sink and refrigerator.This B & B is super clean and homey! The hosts were wonderful and offered a beautiful made-to-order breakfast included with the stay! They even accommodated our food restrictions which was greatly appreciated.

A good night's rest in a tough business trip
Tony and his wife were excellent and gracious hosts. Really appreciated them waiting until I woke up (my flight was 1100 so I could sleep in) before starting their daily activities. A really great place to stay if you want to be close to Kelowna airport. Also way off the flight path so no aeroplane noise whatsoever. One of my best nights on this trip. Well done.
