Stay at the Elegant Farmstead
The Elegant Farmstead was an amazing place to stay. We had the whole property to ourselves, the food was excellent, highly recommend booking the dinner option. The freshly baked bread rolls for breakfast in the morning are truly amazing. We found the amenities at the hotel to be better than described, but do note, WIFI is only available in the reception area. We booked the game drive and were driven around the farm lands for 2 1/2 hours and saw plenty of Kudu, Impala, Ostrich and Giraffe while out and about. The hotel isn't particularly near to other towns, Windhoek is somewhere between 1hr to 1hr 30 away by car, but this hotel is great for relaxing in, with a pool, bar facilities and maps for bush walks which were also great. If you are looking for a hotel with a nice relaxed atmosphere with really friendly staff and great food this place is certainly somewhere we recommend. It is really great value for money and would be a great place to unwind and enjoy the nature that surrounds the property.
