"This was a nice place to rest for a single night on a road trip out west. We were spending no time in Dryden except to sleep so I cannot comment on surrounding amenities. The hotel is undergoing renovations, hence the 3 stars for around the property"

"The host is unbelievably kind and gracious. The property is stunningly beautiful and remote. Honestly, I’m simply struggling for words to describe how wonderful our experience was. We just returned home and I want to get in my car & drive right back!! I can not recommend the host or the property enough. 10 stars out of 5 possible. Exceeded every expectation possible. Will DEFINITELY be returning as long and as often as he continues to rent and I’m physically capable of making the trip from Chicago to the Dryden area. Im a little self-conscious about being too effusive here but I simply had easily one of the, if not THE, most memorable experiences of my life. Perfect for couples because it’s a slightly smaller cabin but we had 3 adults and it worked perfectly. The cabin is amazingly charming and has all the conveniences of modern life right down to WI-FI & TV. Step outside, and you’re in paradise & you may contact the host nearby that will cater to any request you may possibly have. There are also excursions to nearby lakes he offers for additional money for the more adventurous and/or curious. AMAZING experience and AMAZING host."

"I booked for a pilot friend who flew into Sioux lookout May 27 as nothing was available I looked on my hotels.com account , as it was only place for him to stay... unfortunately I didn't read the fine print and when the pilot got there to stay I didn't realize had to give them 24 hour notice no one andweeed the phone or was there to let him in, unfortunately he had no place to stay and was left stranded ... I understand there rules and policy but it shouldn't be listed to check in same day... Not impressed at all"
