The beds and pillows are especially comfortable and we had very good sleep for the 2 nights we stayed. Shower was fantastic as the bathroom was spacious and water pressure was fabulous. The service was great. Requested for iron and it was promptly sent to the room. Location was top notch since it is just next to the main train station in Oita. Would have given a 5 stars if the room is more updated. One thing to note - you’ll need basic conversational Japanese to make conversations easier. The pictures do little justice to how elegant the place really is. I was hesitant at first to book this hotel because it felt dated from the pictures. But I’m really glad I chose this hotel. In person, it was really elegant.
