From the terrace, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the lake extending into Switzerland, the surrounding landscape, and the picturesque village of Wangen. Location & Access The apartment is accessed via a long staircase from the parking area. A storage space for bicycles is available. Please note that due to the stairs, access may not be suitable for individuals with mobility impairments. Layout Ground Floor: The entrance area, a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower cabin, as well as a separate toilet, are located on this level. Attic: A staircase leads to the open-plan living and dining area, which offers magnificent views through large windows and direct access to the terrace. The fully equipped kitchen and the bedroom, featuring two single beds (each 90 cm wide), a chest of drawers, and a wardrobe, are also located here. Amenities Living Area: A TV (satellite) and a radio with Bluetooth functionality are available. Sleeping Arrangements: The sofa can be used as an extra bed for a third person. Please note that this area cannot be darkened and receives early morning light. Guests using this sleeping option must bring their own bedding (duvet and pillow). Sep 9, 2025 Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy Uns hat die Aussicht vom Balkon direkt auf den Bodensee sehr gefallen, ebenso der erste Eindruck, den man von der Wohnung bekommt. Das war es dann aber auch. Die Ausstattung ist eher spartanisch. Es fehlen Schüsseln, kleine Messer, Ersatztoilettenpapier, Küchenrollen oder auch Mülltüten. Leider war auch der Vermieter für uns nicht ansprechbar. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren mitzubringen. Das wussten wir, aber dass es nur Rollen als Kopfkissen und so gar keine Wolldecke für kältere Tage für die Couch gab, fanden wir dann doch merkwürdig. Bei unserer Endreinigung bemerkten wir auch die vielen Flusen unter dem Bett und die schmutzigen Schubfächer der Couch. Alles in allem hat man bei der Wohnung das Gefühl, hier wird viel Geld für wenig Leistung verdient. Schade, denn die Lage und der Ausblick waren super. ##### Birgit S. Aug 6, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Cleanliness Unschlagbar ist tatsächlich die tolle Lage und der herrliche Ausblick über den Bodensee. Auch der romantische Ort selbst vermittelt tolles Urlaubsfeeling. Die Wohnung selbst ist hell und schön geschnitten. Die Ausstattung überwiegend wie beschrieben.In den Betten haben wir gut geschlafen. Allerdings ließ die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Die Terasse, so toll wie der Ausblick ist, ist leider ziemlich verschmutzt, Laub sammelt sich in allen Ecken, überall hängen Spinnengespinnste, die Türrahmen sind durch Insekten stark verschmutzt und verklebt. So wie der weiße Sonnenschirm. In der Wohnung selbst waren viele Spinnen, in der Badewanne lag schon zur Begrüßung eine tote Assel. Lebende Exemplare davon sind abends anzutreffen. Ebenso fand sich im Bad-Mülleimer noch der Müll unserer Vorgänger. Die ehem. beschichtetetn Pfannen haben wir nicht benutzt, da die Beschichtung schon kaputt war. Leider waren auf den Glasnachttischen überall Abdrücke von Gläsern und Fingern. Der Außenbereich wirkt zwar urig, aber etwas ungepflegt. Alles wächst zu, was gerade bei der Außentreppe hinderlich ist, vor allem, wenn es nass draußen ist. Auch die romantische Sitzecke mit dem riesigen Mühlstein ist eigentlich ein Hingucker, nur leider auch nicht nutzbar, da die Natur sich dieses Plätzchen zurückholt. Schön wären auch Fliegengitter im Schlafzimmer gewesen. Ursprünglichwaren da wohl mal welche. Der Eingangsbereich selbst ist ebenfalls nicht sehr einladend, weil einfach nur schmutzig. Aber der Aufenthalt im Anwesen der Familie Schmitz war Traumhaft. Sehr ruhig, so ruhig das man die herrliche Natur genießen kann. Ob es die wunderbare Aussicht von der Terrasse ist oder Vögel aller art hören kann. Fußläufig erreicht man in kurzer Zeit den Hafen in Wangen . Von wo aus man die tollsten Attraktionen am Bodensee erreichen kan. Man ich nicht auf ein Pkw angewiesen. Ebenfalls stehen linienbusse zur verfügung . Haltestelle direkt ebenfalls Fußläufig in Kürze erreichbar. Aus der Siedlung führt eine Treppe direkt zur Hauptstraße. Der Wohnbereich lässt keine Wünsche offen. Also entweder die Seele baumeln lassen ,oder nach Konstanz ins Getümmel stürzen. Für jeden was dabei. Parkplatz vorm Haus und Abstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder sind prima, man kann auf zwei oder vier Rädern einige Ausflüge unternehmen. Das Nötigste ist in der Ausstattung vorhanden (aber kein Föhn), und die Betten waren für uns etwas zu weich.
