The cabin is very secluded in the lush greenery of southwestern Pennsylvania. This cozy cabin has a solid-wood interior and comfortably sleeps 4 guests. Inside the cabin, you will find a beautiful stone fireplace in the living room, modern kitchen, master bedroom overlooking the forest, and a beautiful bathroom. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee while you watch the birds dance through the trees and perhaps get a glimpse of some of our wildlife! The A Place in the Pines offers the comforts of home some of which are: Private location, fully equipped kitchen, full size stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, blow dryer, washer & dryer. All towels and bed linens, TV/DVD player, stone gas-burning fireplace in living room also included. This unit also includes High Speed Internet with WIFI throughout the house. This property is dog friendly.* Additional flat fee will be charged per pet, if necessary, after receiving your signed Rental Agreement. We have not stayed anywhere in PA before but we like to find new areas for vacation. This was in a great location, there were many hiking areas within minutes. The hot tub was great after longs treks.

Lovely Getaway Spot
I stayed at a Place in the Pines for a short overnight trip with my husband and son. The house was smaller than expected and I was curious about how it could sleep 4 people with only one bedroom area (plus couch). However, it was a clean space, exactly what we needed and the hot tub and secluded outdoor space was perfect. I would definitely come back for a getaway with my husband, as it seems like the perfect place for a little couples weekend.

Perfect little cabin
Overall the place was amazing and perfect for a great romantic weekend away and a great recovery place after some hard whitewater rafting. The hot tub was perfect. Our only complaint would be the bed. It’s to soft and the frame not put together well. Upgrade the bed and this place is a 5 outta 5! We will book again. Just hope bed gets upgraded. Thanks!!
