Stay in our cozy Maple Syrup Sugarhouse at Butternut Maple Farm

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at Butternut Maple Farm in the heart of Burton Township right by the Geauga County Fairgrounds University Hospitals Geauga Campus, and just a few miles away from Amish country.

This brand-new smoke-free fully furnished studio apartment is on the top floor of our maple syrup sugarhouse with a gorgeous second floor deck perfect for your morning coffee or to grill out at night.

During sugar season (January through March), come on downstairs for front row seats to watch and/or participate in the making of our award-winning certified organic maple syrup.

This apartment is newly completed with an inviting kitchenette, spacious bathroom, and comfy living room with a large flat screen television.

While visiting, take a walk around our 6.5 acre farm.

A Unique and Memorable Stay!

If you’re looking for a truly unique experience, this is the place to be. The unit itself is spotless and cozy, with a very comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The property offers plenty of space to explore, with beautiful surroundings that make it easy to unwind and enjoy nature.What really sets this stay apart is the fact it is a working maple syrup making facility. If your timing lines up with the season, it would be both fascinating and fun to watch and learn about the process. It would add a whole new layer to the experience that you won’t find at a typical rental. Highly recommend for anyone looking to combine comfort with a bit of adventure and local charm! We would definitely stay again.

Very nice stay

We enjoyed a quiet stay at Butternut Farm. The property was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed for a nice long weekend. Close by to downtown Burton with restaurants and a little shopping, the property is a reasonable drive to Cleveland downtown and other small towns in Ohio. I would recommend this property to any couple who are looking to get away for a little.

Relaxing and memorable

Renee her husband Peiree were so friendly and accommodating. Loves the maple syrup its the best in town and the puppys were the cutest.The loft apartment was very homey and comfy.We will beback soon.

A Hallmark movie stay in the country side!

If you need to stay in Geauga county or the NE Ohio area, this is the spot for you! You truly feel like you are staying in a Hallmark movie while you're in the this quant Maple Sugar House apartment. All amenities are brand new and so nice. The owner was so sweet and even left a little bottle of their maple syrup. The floor even warms up! Great tv size for any spouses or sport loving folks. The bed was actually super comfortable (which I find rare). Overall a 10 out of 10 stars!

We had a relaxing and amazing stay. The room was immaculate and well appointed! Nice porch for an evening drink and morning coffee! Such a unique place to stay right where Ohio Maple syrup is made. Wonderful place. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
