A 20 minute drive and you will be up the mountain at Turoa Ski Field enjoying the snow. Whakapapa Ski Field is located 45 minutes from Ohakune Township. So close to the action yet a quiet home location for a peaceful night . Ohakune is a great location for accessing all year round activities such as skiing, tramping, biking, horse riding, and fishing.
