"Really great place for a big family get together. Has everything you need. Plenty of space for lots of people. Amazing fire place for warming up in the winter. Hot tub and games room were a big hit. "

"The River Lodge is a beautiful property set in lovely grounds. We had a large beautiful room, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountain. We had fabulous breakfasts and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside is that it is quite remote - about a 10 minute drive into Ohakune."

"Beautiful log cabin close to town but feels like middle of nature. Perfect for family of 4 with a bit older kids due to maisonette level only has a ladder to enter. We really enjoyed our stay and would do it again. "
