I apprecuated the fact rhat they were accomodating to my situation. I did not like the fact that it was noisy up til midnight, there were bugs in the place, and a bath towel was not in the room upon arrival.

Run down, little to no heat on a night in the 40’s. Cheap, hard mattress and barely stuffed pillows. Had a weird old musty/moldy smell. Drapes partly hanging off A broken rod that wouldn’t allow them to remotely close all the way (huge window right on ground level) weak ass Wi-Fi that constantly cut out. I will say for what it was it seemed clean and had shockingly high water pressure in the shower. Not so much in the sink or toilet though. Little to no lighting outside. I was looking for a cheap, minute room so, whatever, it was what it was.

A Step Back in Time
What an adorable vintage motel! I truly felt like we had stepped back in time; to maybe 1967. Our check-in process was quick and easy. The lady who assisted us was very friendly as she handed us an actual key! We walked past a white picket fenced pool to our room. As we entered our wood-paneled room, the bedspread reminded me of my grandmother’s home. We folded back the spread to reveal a fuzzy green blanket, another relic from my childhood. Upon further exploration, we discovered baseboard heating and an AC wall unit. What a surprise to learn the the king-sized bed was the most comfortable place we’ve slept all week. The cleanliness was a 10, not a speck of dust anywhere! And for food, there is a lovely diner just a few steps away.

Very pleasant stay. Only thing was the parking lot became a little congested. We were unable to park in front of our room the second night because the people in the room next to ours had a giant truck which prevented us from using our spot. Fortunately, there was an open space two doors down.

Location was great. ease in parking also a plus; Disliked that no instructions were provided for use of TV. Also disliked the smell of cigarette smoke so close to our room(sign on outside of building restricted smoking to be no closer than 20 feet from building)

Overall, it was fine. The room was nothing special, the bed was lacking pillows and blankets. Nothing was well done, but it did have a TV, mini fridge, and microwave so that was nice. There are multiple permanent residents and they leave enormous messes. Every public garbage can full, and heaps of beer, soda, coffees, etc on their front porches. The office where you check in was also a mess. The dumpster next to the office was empty, but had piles of garbage and litter around it. It was alarming how much garbage was lying around. Other than the garbage, it was a "get what you pay for" place. Nothing great, just a place to sleep. I would just bring my own pillows and blankets next time lol.

Unit #7: Trains passed by several times during the night, blowing their “whistles” loudly while passing. TV was difficult to operate. Room and bathroom were clean. Fridge and microwave worked well. Check in was easy.

an ok place to stay but definitely dated. not updated for todays electronics. coffee available 24 hrs but only if water and pods are available to put in the kuerig. too cold to use the pool but looked ok.

General Dirty conditions in the room. Stained pillow cases. Old and outdated decor, 1980's. Room next to us stayed up partying until 3am, hence not much sleep. Won't be starting there again.

Difficult to regulate temperature, tv reception was poor, low low toilet difficult for older folks to get up, office shuts down completely after 11:00 and doesn’t open until 8:00 or so next morning. Did not enjoy this stay and will not return.

Train goes by multiple times a day with horn. The rooms are not well soundproofed, and it's a very noisy road. The wifi was awful. Very outdated and the bathroom was constructed strangely (toilet close to wall and sliding bathroom door). Very old microwave and mini fridge needs to be defrosted. Property needs some renovations badly, but is fine for the price. Come prepared, or hit the dollar tree to add some comfort to your stay.

I would definitely stay here, despite some issues. The house cleaning staff would walk by the room, I had to call for service. The windows had no screens, so much for fresh air. The room has a smell that most Wells motels share. But it was quiet, has a big pool, & it's in walking distance to both Maine dinner & Big Daddy's ice cream!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, room was clean, pool nice and clean. Hotel is situated very close to beaches and right next to am amazing wildlife preserve, estuary! For the price, its unbeatable.

Check in was through what felt like a garage not an office. The bell needs to be rung and someone comes down from the house. The young man who checked us in was very nice. The room itself was very outdated but clean. New vinyl floors throughout but no rugs so you track dirt everywhere ( I wished I had a broom!). The bathroom faucet never quite shut and was dripping when we went there. Toilet paper holder was nonexistent. The roll was sticking on the old piece of holder attached to wall. Beds were low to floor and bedding old but clean. The small tv had 2 remotes and we felt bad because we had to go get someone to program it so we could use the tv (twice). Old wall a/c unit and heater in bathroom rusty but again: clean. Definitely a budget hotel. Can’t complain about cleanliness, just feel it needs help to be inviting.

I really enjoyed our stay at cabin #5! Nothing bad to say. It was clean and efficiently furnished. The hot water was instant with no waiting around; which was hard to believe! I liked that the kitchen had the pans and utensils that we needed, and a nice, newer, large fridge. The bed was comfortable. Also it was 20 minutes or so from some beautiful views and hikes in the white mountains. I want to go back!

Housekeeping doesn’t clean the rooms
Room was filthy. Not sure if the sheets we had were clean or not. Bed was made. Human waste & pubic hair in the toilet. Used soap bar on the sink. Called the hotel 3x after we checked in. Nobody answered. Hotels.com called, nobody answered. Owner told me we never called. I told him i could show him proof on my call log. Neither of us really slept because we felt like the bed wasnt clean. He didn't want to refund the room, but I told him I wouldn't accept any other resolution. He eventually refunded us. I have pictures, however the app wont let me add them.

This motel allows staying in this beautiful area for a reasonable price. We appreciated: Fridge, microwave, TV with lots of channels, overall cleanliness, parking in front of the unit, outside facilities. On the other hand, Wifi can be improved.
