trip to Odessa
I stayed for 15 nights at Palais Royal and I can say that it was very convenient in so many aspects. The location was superb in the city, near almost every thing. the hotel its self is more than adequate in its services not to mention that they have a restaurant that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a good reputation and reasonable price. It is called Happiness. Rooms are pretty nice and clean. Front desk are available 24 hours and ready to help, They even recharged my mobile number on site. They speak English and can communicate very well. Their price was very reasonable. I would recommended it highly and for sure would visit it again.

להתרחק מהמלון הכי רחוק שאפשר
הגענו למלון והחדרים שקיבלנו היו שונים לגמרי מהחדרים שהזמנו דרך האתר, לאחר וויכוח עם מנהלת המלון הגענו לפשרה וקיבלנו הנחה בסך של 15% מערך התשלום עבור כל הלילות. בבוקר למחרת גילינו שאין חשמל בכל המלון, ולמלון אין גנרטור חשמלי כאשר דרשנו לקבל את ארוחת הבוקר ששילמנו עליה נאמר לנו כי המלון לא מחוייב לספק ארוחת בוקר וזה לראות עיניו של המלון. לא ממליצה בכלל להגיע למקום, חדרים קטנטנים, יש בעיות עם זרם של מים ועם מים חמים, מנהלת המלון לא רצתה לדבר איתנו רק התנערה מאחריות. מזל שהיה מלון ממול שהיו לו 4 חדרים פנויים לקבל אותנו עזבנו בלי לחשוב פעמיים.

First impressions: arrived early morning the receptionist gave us a great room overlooking the Main Street and checked us in as soon as she could. Room: Clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the Main Street, however quite after 11pm so no problem sleeping. Breakfast: Off the menu breakfast all choices are a high standard and delicious, served either on the terrace or in the garden. Location: situated very close to all the main attractions on the same street as the opera house, the area has great restaurants, shops and bars. Staff: We found all the staff both professional and efficient the receptionist who booked our tour around the Opera house was particularly helpful. Summary: We really enjoyed our three nights at the Palais Royal would definitely use again and would certainly recommend as value for money. Sally and Dave T

A very pleasant small hotel with friendly and very helpful staff. The hotel is marvellously situated, next door to the Opera House, close to the Potemkin Steps and the centre of town. Odessa is a lovely town, worth a visit.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much! The breakfast selections were excellent, all the staff were super friendly (we especially thank waitress Nastya). Location right next to the Opera Theater, with the breakfast served outdoors in Pale Royale square, the restaurant had a great lunch and dinner selections! We felt safe and close to all the center attractions (walking distance). The only improvement we would recommend: if you call the room "suite" we expect to have two rooms (e.g. a bedroom and a separate living room); however, it was one large room with a bed and a sofa bed. Please describe the amenities more accurate. Otherwise, excellent experience and we will stay there again and will recommend this place to all our friends!

Beautiful hotel and garden
The hotel was perfect, except for a little problem with check-in and the room description. The room, a junior suite, was described as having a balcony. In fact, only some of the junior suites have them. We had to change rooms after the first day as none with a balcony was available. Subsequently, however, the room was exactly as described. The balcony overlooked a beautiful garden. Breakfast was superb, served in a beautiful garden. It's right next to the Opera House with wonderful night life surrounding. Staff was very helpful. One caution, although the location is excellent, there are pickpockets nearby the hotel. We were robbed right in front.

Great little hotel, perfect location near all the Odessa attraction. Free breakfast is very nice for what others have for free breakfast. Staff is extremly polite and trained to stand up when guests enter the lobby. (Unnessary IMHO, but keeps them always ready to help, which is rare in Ukraine) my room had a great balcony view on the Grand Opera Teater and the garden. Extremly pleasant stay!

Nice, small hotel two steps away Opera House. Our room looked into the palais royal park and from our balcony we saw Opera House. Wonderful location, nice breakfast included. Room is comfortable, new bathroom, bath robes, slippers.

Nice hotel, next to the beautiful Odessa Opera
Nice, the room are clean; the stuff is polite and professional, everything works. The location is outstanding - close to everything, great for sightseeing, business, or if you just like a nice stroll - right next to Odessa Opera House, two blocks from French Boulevard. The hotel restaurant is also quite good: great food and a very pleasant setup.
