« Wow! What a beautiful, clean and comfortable stay in Octopus Lair!!! Our family absolutely loved all the details in the house and appreciated the comfortable beds. It was nice that so much was provided for use in the kitchen: coffee, pods as well, sugars and powder creamer. All the ziploc bags and foil and wrap to store leftovers was so nice. The location truly can’t be beat—steps from the beach, right by the boardwalk, and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Long Beach. Fireworks on the beach were next-level, and it was amazing to watch the chaos and color unfold right outside the property.The unit itself was clean, quiet, and tastefully furnished, with a cozy vibe that made it feel like home....

« The house was AMAZING. The downstairs looked like it had been professionally interior decorated. The host was our neighbor and came to greet when we arrived. The location was perfect for us. And had lots of things included for their guests, comfortable beds, lots of books, games and lots stuff for us to use. The only problem was our truck was too big for the garage and the parking space was filled by our truck so not anybody’s fault but our own »

« We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. We would highly recommend. »
