Stretch out on the hammock in the landscaped backyard and fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. This remodeled beach bungalow has a soothing blue palette, a private entrance tiny house and ocean views from the front porch. Check In: Guests will be provided with a door code specific to their dates of stay and may self check in anytime after 4PM. Check Out: Guests must depart by 11AM. Property Details: \- Property includes one-bedroom main house, guest room tiny house & enclosed backyard. The main home includes a bedroom with queen bed, convertible sofa bed, bathroom, full kitchen and private patio. Tiny house in backyard includes private entrance, queen bed, kitchenette and bathroom. \- Property accommodates four guests comfortably, however up to six guests are permitted with an extra charge after four guests. \- Property is dog friendly. Up to two dogs (max weight of 75 lbs combined) are welcome to accompany their owners on a beach getaway. \- Per the City of Oceanside Short-Term Rental (STR) Ordinance, Sec. 24.7.m, a two-night minimum is required for all stays. A longer minimum may apply for holidays and special events. \- The property is designed for guests to relax and unwind next to the Pacific. Please note that strictly no events, parties, weddings or photo shoots are permitted at this bungalow. For a 50% refund of accommodation fees, cancellations must be made 7 full days prior to 4pm PST check in time of arrival date. If cancellation is made less than 7 days in advance or if the guest decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded. MODIFICATIONS: Given 14 days notice prior to the date of check in, reservations can be moved up to 365 days out and the current trip amount applied as a credit towards the future stay. If choosing this option, guests must select an alternative date for which to move their stay. If the new dates of stay are of lesser value, guests will be refunded the difference. Make sure you bring your own beach towels and things for the beach- there were not in the best conditions due to the rust on the beach chairs - the umbrella also was helpful but rusty as well . I’ve always loved this sleepy beachside town. It’s my favorite beach in all of SoCal. I also love staying in traditional beach bungalows. This one was perfect for me, my friends, a 2 1/2 year old, and dog-friendly too! Great back yard to relax and hang out, complete with BBQ, games, table, chairs, and a hammock. Our daily routine was to enjoy coffee outdoors while playing in the back yard. I took the dog for morning walks and stopped at each beach lookout. It was glorious! The main house has a bedroom with a window air conditioner, adorable redesigned bathroom with built in soap/shampoo/conditioner. The front of the house has many windows, door that opens to the long patio, and a convenient kitchen. The “little house” was just as perfect and that’s where I stayed. I slept so well! The owners and property management are wonderful and checked in every day to ensure we were enjoying our stay and provided suggested great dining spots and local farmers markets! It’s a great place if you’re looking for that traditional Oceanside beach experience. The property was great for our four night stay, and would have been well suited for a longer stay. Off street parking greatly appreciated. Wonderful back yard. We did not get chance to use the back yard, grill, or the second attached unit on the property. Kitchen was relatively well equipped. Appliances a little dated, but quite adequate for our needs. Bathroom very small but adequate with good water pressure and temperature. Would have liked to have room darkening shades and TV in the bedroom. Although there is "beach access" nearby there was no beach between the water and rocks either due to seasonal tides or erosion. Oceanside pier, major shops and restaurants about a mile away, with some even closer to the property. Would stay here again . ##### Melanie M. The house is so cute and we loved that it has a separate area with the kitchen bedroom and bathroom. We would love to build one of our own. The cottage was located in the perfect spot. Close to downtown, across the street from the ocean and near parks. The rental needs a little love. It would have been nice if beach towels where offered. The parking space is so convenient. Air conditioning unit (which is rare for the area) helps a lot during the afternoon. The front porch is great for coffee in the morning. Steps away from the water.
