Summary:
This Kauai-inspired retreat sits on a tree-lined street in a quiet neighborhood while remaining within walking distance of the vibrant downtown, and picturesque coast. It was comprehensively re-imagined to become a vacation retreat offered by The Urban Nest North County. The designer's signature style shows throughout the space. It is our goal is to deliver unique design, blended with authentic hospitality, to each and every guest!

The Space:
PROPERTY OVERVIEW
Re-imagined to perfection and under new, top-notch management, this single-story vacation retreat boasts hardwood floors, an open floor plan, luxury bedding, a full kitchen, stylist furnishings throughout, fenced in yard, outdoor dining patio, a fenced in common courtyard with a fire table, beach equipment, and Cox Gigablast Wi-Fi speed! The CEO of The Urban Nest is one of the top designers in Southern California, and her signature style shows. The CFO of the company has spent his 20-year career as an executive within the luxury hotel space. Together it is their goal to deliver unique design, blended with authentic hospitality, to each and every guest!

CLEANING COMMITMENT
Cleanliness has always been of the utmost importance to us! Our Ambassador of Clean oversees the cleanliness of our homes. Through her efforts, we have been given a 5-star review for the cleanliness of our homes from each and every guest that has ever stayed with us over the last 5 years! We are very proud of this.

LIVING AREA
- Every opportunity to bring in natural light through windows and doors was taken in this home design!
- Recline on a comfortable sofa and two stylish armchairs in the living room while watching a movie on the 45” flat screen smart TV.
- Television content is provided via Hulu TV. Hulu is a entertainment content provider offering live TV via an expanded line up of television network programming, on demand television content, and on demand movies.
- The home is fully equipped with a new, state-of-the-art HVAC system including air conditioning, which keeps guests in control of their comfort throughout the year. Please note, that air conditioning is very difficult to find in the area as historic homes present a challenge to installing. Through some fine engineering, we are proud to say that we got it in.
- Complimentary Cox’s Gigablast Wi-Fi is available for Guest Use.

WORKSPACE
- Do you best work remotely! A high counter with stools, complete with convenient USB outlets and great lighting, overlooking the outdoor garden defines on a comfortable workspace.
- Our investment in Cox’s Gigablast Wi-Fi service ensures fast and reliable service for all your IT needs.
- While the Keurig machine offers the necessary caffeine for the early or late video conference of the day, a mid-day stroll on the pier offers a perfect mid-day break.

KITCHEN & DINING
- The kitchen is adorned with stone and walnut countertops and upgraded stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher.
- A Keurig machine with complimentary coffee and condiments await guests.
- Kitchen is fully equipped with everything guests may need to enjoy their stay, including grilling tools and a pizza stone for chilly nights or our smallest guest.
- Enjoy a beautiful SoCal outdoor dining experience on the private patio with a table for six or gather inside with counter seating to accommodate six.
- The open floor plan allows for guests to remain engaged with one another.

BEDROOMS & BATH
- This home accommodates six guests between two bedrooms and a memory foam, queen-size sofa sleeper.
- The full bathroom is stocked complete with a complimentary 5-piece, starter set of toiletries Intended to pamper the guests.
- The bath features a modern glass walk-in shower.
- Both master bedrooms feature a king-size signature mattress from the World’s Largest Luxury Hotel Chain bed complete with luxurious bedding, down pillows, and 540 thread count sheets.
- Bedrooms feature open chrome wired closets for ease of access to luggage and the guest belongings.
- Both master bedrooms have a 45” flat screen smart TV to appease every guest's viewing preference.
- The memory foam, queen-size sleeper sofa and darkening window treatments in the living room is intended to ensure the 5th-6th person a quality night’s sleep.
- Ample, high quality linens along with beach towels are provided for guest use.

OUTDOOR AREA
- A fenced front and backyard allow adults and children to enjoy the Cali sunshine and the beautiful sunsets.
- Unwind on six Adirondack chairs that surround the fire table in the common courtyard. Please note that the common courtyard is shared by all three units in contrast to the private front yard. The rear patio of the home adjoins this common courtyard. Many of our guests enjoy the opportunity to socialize with other guests staying at the property.
- Fire up the dedicated gas grill and enjoy a delicious al fresco meal at a table for six on the front patio.
- Thoughtfully landscaping ensures the guest can enjoy the quiet neighborhood while being reminded they are in sunny destination at a vacation retreat.

BEACH EQUIPMENT
Need bikes, helmets, or boards? Don't rent them! This home provides two beach cruiser bikes with helmets, two boogie boards, two beach chairs, a beach umbrella sand toys, a cooler, and a wagon to tote it all to the famous Oceanside Pier beach.

LAUNDRY
Two sets of full-size washer/dryers with complimentary detergent are provided in the common courtyard for guest use.

PARKING
- This unit has a dedicated parking spot in the rear of the property.
- Additionally, plenty of street parking is available on a first come, first served basis subject to the following restrictions due to street sweeping:
- The East side is no parking between 10am-2pm on 1st and 3rd Monday for street sweeping.
- The West side is no parking between 6am-10am on the 1st and 3rd Monday for street sweeping.

KEYLESS ENTRY
This home is equipped with a smart lock. Upon arrival, guests can easily access the home with a keyless secure door code. Please note, the access code is time-sensitive. As such, it operates the lock only at or after 3:00p time and will not work after 10:00a on your check-out date.

EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS
We have a strict policy that does not allow for early check-ins or late check-outs. We take great pride in the cleanliness and organization of our homes so we need to afford housekeeping enough time to properly prepared for each and every guest!

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We are pleased to have hosted a huge number of respectful and thoughtful guest(s) in the past, however we do have to put this disclaimer out there to protect ourselves against the occasional problematic guest(s). Please be sure to carefully review the House Rules! A $1,000.00 security deposit is required with this reservation and we will process a credit card authorization in that amount prior to your arrival. This authorization is held for 14 days and will expire after your departure only after it is inspected to ensure that the House Rules were strictly followed, all contents of the home are undamaged and in the unit, and there is no damage or additional cleaning that is needed to return the unit or the contents of the unit to the condition that was present prior to your arrival.

For additional information regarding the security deposit, please review the Rental Agreement and House Manual.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
By confirming your booking, you will be entering into a Rental Agreement with The Urban Nest North County. The Rental Agreement will be sent to you approximately two hours after confirmation of your booking. If you have any objections to the terms of the Rental Agreement, you must notify management, in writing, within 24 hours of receipt of the Rental Agreement via the host channel.

Amazing place near the beach

They literally thought of everything. Beach toys, boogie boards, umbrella and beach wagon. The property was beautiful and well equipped. There were clear instructions for everything. The kitchen had dishes, pans and utensils. This is our second stay at an Urban Nest property. Urban Nest are our go to properties in Oceanside.

Ready to move to O-Side

Stayed in O-side for a baseball tournament. Only 15 min. From the fields we were assigned in Carlsbad. So glad we picked this home in this great area. Super cute and stylish. Beds, (including pull) out, were large and comfortable for us and our 13 and 16 year old boys. Made use of the well stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, and fire as well as the picnic table out front for meals and work with my a.m. cup of coffee. AC was quiet and a plus. Location was Perfect! Walked to dining, bars and beach. Would've stayed longer and extended our vacay if they had the availability. Fantastic spot!

The property is beautiful. EXCELLENT communication before and during our stay. The property is on a BEAUTIFUL street, away from all the craziness. However, it is walking distance to whatever you want; shops and ocean. They had bikes and helmets and boogie boards and beach chairs that you could put on like a backpack. We did laundry and cooked a couple meals and sat outside at the picnic table. Wonderful stay.

Fantastic Getaway In Oceanside

My family and I stayed at this wonderful gem for two weeks and it we would recommend it to anyone considering staying in the area. The host were great with communication and easy to work with. The home has everything you need, with comfortable king size bed as well as a very inviting courtyard. Having designated parking is a big bonus in a beach town as well. Close to plenty of restaurants and coffee houses, you can’t go wrong here. Thank you so much for a fantastic property!

Nice home base in Oceanside

My son and I stayed here for a few days, and found it comfortable and in a convenient location. You can tell when you’re staying with an experienced host! We had all the supplies we needed. The laundry worked fine, and was not a hassle to use despite being in the back yard. We had noisy neighbors arrive in the other half of the duplex late one night, and Jessica was quick to respond. They’re very clear about the quiet hours, and we appreciated that. I think with a larger group it would be fun to rent both sides or all three of the Urban Nest properties! Thank you for having us.

great 2 bedroom condo with full kitchen, 0.9 miles walk to the pier

This condo is great. The single assigned parking spot + availability of more street parking was made clear to us from the start. The host was very responsive to my emailed questions (within 1/2 day). Know these things in case they're important to you: If walking to the beach/pier, you've got a .9 mile walk to the city pier, which is central to most beach visits. This is perfect for us but be advised in case you don't like walking that far. Street parking, if you use it, is governed by the street-sweeping schedule. This means you may need to move your vehicle every 1-2 days; pay attention to what the host mails you on this. There are two cruiser bikes and a BBQ grill assigned to this unit, + beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and even beach toys for the kids provided. We used (and put back clean) most of that. Full kitchen w/ full size fridge is great. We loved staying here.

Wonderful Time

Very distinct styled cottage in a perfect neighborhood to get to know O’side. Peaceful, safe street with easy walk to shops, restaurants, ocean, activities. Also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Jessica is very organized with excellent communication and information to make visit stress free. We will definitely return before the end of this year!

Wonderful little house that is kept very clean and well organized. Nice to have beach chairs, boogie boards, toys and beach cruiser bikes to use as well!! 0.5 mile to downtown restaurants and amenities so you can walk or drive if needed. Easy check in/out process. Would stay here again.

Great spot. I stayed here with another person for a work trip. I have never stayed in a short term rental that was so dialed and had put so much effort into stocking the place with useful items. It was clean, well designed and in a great neighborhood in the middle of O Side. The outdoor spaces aren't very private but we didn't mind. The pictures don't do the place justice.

We had a great stay here. We were in town visiting our son, a Marine, at Camp Pendleton. The property was super clean and had lots of extras we didn’t get to use like bikes and beach stuff. I would definitely stay here again. Great communication from host too!

Wonderful house that had it all

My family (4) husband and 2 teenage daughters stayed for the week and the house had everything you need!!! Both bedrooms had a king size bed so comfortable, The neighbors in the other units were so friendly, enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and socializing. Bikes, chairs coolers etc were all included and in the shed. The house was so neat, clean and nicely decorated. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!!

Great place!

We loved our stay and proximity to the beach. Great setup with having beach items already there that we can use. Makes going to the beach a breeze. Very clean and works great for our family with the kitchen and two bedrooms.
