THE VIEW Sit back and relax in G33 - Steps to the Sand, a ground-level cottage with a beautiful harbor and ocean view cottage located in North Coast Village. Enjoy the high-quality lounge chairs on the patio which allow you to relax and watch the comings and going of the harbor, the activities on the beach, the surfers riding the waves along the jetty, and the magnificent sunsets. The road seen in pictures from the patio is a frontage road only used by a small portion of the complex to get to one of the parking garages and is very quiet. The road actually makes it very convenient to pull to the side and unload suitcases or groceries right through the patio door into the kitchen. This condo is perfect for families wanting their kids to play on the grass off the back patio, anyone with physical disabilities who needs easy access to sand and condo, and/or anyone who wants to sit back on the patio loungers and view the sunset every night. KITCHEN AND DINING The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the basic cooking utensils you need to create any of your favorite vacation foods right from the comfort of your own condo. The dining area has a large table with seating for 4, as well as 3 additional spots at the bar. LIVING AREAS G33 is furnished to comfortably house 4 with 2 swiveling recliner chairs, and a sleeper sofa that's actually pretty comfortable (no weird angles or bars to the back!). The living room also has a flat-screen TV that you can use to watch the cable TV with 250+ channels. High-speed cable internet is also included free of charge. For the occasional cool winter day - or to create an ambiance - the living room has a gas fireplace that is fully functional for your enjoyment. The bathroom is across the hall from the bedroom and has a tub/shower combo with a separate vanity area. SLEEPING G33 is set up to sleep 4 guests. The master bedroom has a Cal-King size bed with a small TV, rocking chair, and bench. It is very open and painted in soft blue tones that soothe and put you in vacation relaxation mode. Additional sleeping arrangements are found in the main living room where there is a queen-sized sofa sleeper. EXTRAS \-This unit comes with 1 assigned parking space in the garage next to the building. \-A PacknPlay Travel Crib is provided in the unit for those traveling with younger guests. \-Hi-speed wireless internet provided free of charge. \-G33 is also fully equipped with all the needed beach equipment to have a truly magical beach vacation including boogie boards (2), beach towels (4), sand toys, beach umbrella (1), and beach chairs. (2). \*\*Please note there is no AC in the unit. For the most part, Oceanside is known for its temperate climate that stays in the "Goldilocks Zone" all year round, meaning not too hot, not too cold. Painters were outside our building all day on Saturday (we could see them through the windows etc) We did get a very small refund but I was pretty disappointed about one of the main highlights of this rental for me was the view of the ocean from the patio and/or kitchen table and it was all scaffolding. Unlucky timing for us however, they did move it for our last two days. Everything else was great, The amenities are nice heated pool and hot jacuzzi, great gym, present security, beautiful grounds, the room itself was very clean and up to date. The location is awesome you can walk right out side to the ocean or to the harbor where there is a great coffee shop , and other nice little restaurants . Walking distance to the pier . Complex and location in general superb, security top notch, landscaping and upkeep wonderful. The complex has lush landscaping and a lovely pool. Having a piano is definitely an added plus, however, the property itself was not up to standards with cleanliness. There is a pile of broken vertical blinds under the bed as well as lots of dust and hair. I don’t understand how that is acceptable in any property. It was gross to see that right under my head while I slept. Lastly, the rug in the living room should be replaced as it made my socks dirty. ##### Andra S. Fixed the next day. TV not working fixed same day. -remote still broken. Takes two remotes to operate TV. North Coast Village is ideally located for those wishing to take long walks. To the north is Oceanside Harbor where you cross the bridge and walk to the right along the harbor with its docks scattered with powerboats and sailboats and numerous restaurants to choose from. Or, you can walk to the left along the beach where you can watch the surfers do their thing and the gorgeous sunsets we were treated to every evening. To the south of the complex is the strand where once again you walk along the beach with the added option of walking out on the 1/4 mile pier where locals and tourist alike try their luck with catching the big one. At the end of the pier is another restaurant. Two lovely walks which will take you an hour to navigate at a brisk pace. Invigorating!!! The newly renovated kitchen offers all the amenities needed to do all your own cooking with the added option of numerous restaurants close by. Although there are always small issues with a rental, I will say we were most pleased with our extended vacation at this condo and would highly recommend it to others. ##### donald l. That being said, the location was awesome -- EASY walking distance (like 300 yards, maybe) to the beach and 1/4 of mile, maybe to the Oceanside harbor where all the shops and restaurants are. We planned to do some of the other local attractions, but the kids would have been equally happy just playing at the beach, the pool and in the condo. Nice outdoor area and you can watch the sunset every night. The condo was very nice and beachy, furniture was comfortable and the bed and pillows were great. The shower is small if you are person of size. The grounds are so pretty with flowers and greenery and the pool area is fun.
