This two-story 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhome - with first-floor master suite - is ready for guests to relax and enjoy their stay at the beach. Recent updates (2017): New flooring, mattresses, living room furniture, countertops, bedding and a fresh coat of paint! At approximately 1,750 square feet, this golf resort retreat offers great vacation spaces inside and out, including a screened porch or and open air deck. Centrally located between Ocean City, Md., Fenwick Island, Dewey Beach and Rehoboth Beach, Del., each brimming with shops, restaurants and more. Central air conditioning, well-equipped kitchen, full size washer and dryer and more. 4 flat-screen TVs (Roku TVs in the bedrooms for streaming), 2 DVDs, CD player, gas fireplace, charcoal grill, Wifi. Plus, bikes (courtesy items not guaranteed). The Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. We went to Bethany Beach one day, ate at Vista rooftop restaurant in Ocean City and went to Octoberfest in Berlin, MD and still had time to get together with friends who live in Ocean View. Unfortunately, one of my children left something behind. We realized this relatively quickly, but because VRBO and Vacasa are both such big companies we were unable to speak to anyone locally for days. That meant we would need to have the item mailed. We were even willing to make the 7 hour round trip to pick it up personally. The response from Vacasa was deplorable. Most communication was required through text. Some of those messages came through at 3am. They would not let us speak to anyone in Delaware and even after securing the item, they would not give us a pick up address. Ultimately a manager or some other employee sent an incredibly rude text message shaming us for leaving something behind and making sure we were well aware how inconvenient it was for them to put it in the mail. Jan 11, 2023 #### Disappointed We love the bear trap community and the amenities are wonderful. This past stay of our family vacation was horrible because of the company we rented through. The home was not clean, sand all over the floor, sheets were not on beds, dishwasher had dirty dishes, the grill did not have gas and then when we did call to notify them they showed up unannounced at 10:30 pm the night we just checked in. I already had told them I had two small children and asked if they would notify us prior to coming. They confirmed they would. No one called and then they assumed they were going to make our beds after we were already asleep. The A/c was not working as well. We ended up checking out early because we just kept finding more and more filth. We are disappointed and saddened by this because we had stayed at this location previously and it was clean and nice. Unfortunately we will not be returning. And not happy with the rental company because wells just refunded $167 for an entire week of stay. ##### Michael H. It is always clean with no wall-to-wall carpeting (which can get particularly gross at the beach) and has a terrific bedroom set up for our crew. The kids’ bedroom has four twins positioned around the perimeter of the room. One request is that the cleaning crew do a better job cleaning around and under those mattresses though. The location is not only convenient to Fenwick Island and Bethany Beach and all the stores and restaurants, but it is also in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Jul 30, 2021 #### Perfect Family Getaway This house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were so comfortable. Comfy couches in the living room too. The water pressure in the shower was great. The screened in porch was used a lot by my family. Plenty of street parking. Loved looking at the golf course out back while we made breakfast and dinner. May 3, 2021 #### Convenient location - house just ok Many small annoying things that were inconvenient with this rental. We liked the area but wouldn't rent this place again. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets. TV remotes were either missing or needed batteries, Ceiling fan remote needed batteries. The filter for the refrigerator was missing, so there was no filtered water or ice. The cookware was old and scratched. There are lots of rentals in Bear Trap, so we would pick another one next time. It is a close drive to the beach and local restaurants. The house was very clean and has a beautiful view of the golf course. The home was very clean, beds were amazingly comfortable, great size back yard for our little ones, and even when we had some difficulties the Wyndham staff was very helpful and accommodating!
