House was exactly as pictured, owners were very pleasant, and the opportunity to observe so much wildlife without even leaving the porch was phenomenal. So many beautiful birds, a few dolphins, and even an alligator made our week memorable. Restaurants are a short drive away but also the perfect distance so you can relax away from the world while near the house. We had the beach to ourselves all week! Only suggestion- bring some water shoes for the ocean. A few storms stirred up some garbage we stepped on in the water (obviously no fault of the owners). Kids fished on the ocean (caught catfish, red fish, stingrays, a small shark, and a sheephead) and caught crabs in the creek. Saw dolphins and many birds. Loved the quiet neighborhood. Basketball hoop under the house kept kids entertained when they weren't fishing. House is very nice, and hosts were great at communicating. Very clean and tastefully decorated, this house was very well furnished. My favorite was sitting in the rockers on the front porch. So relaxing. The beach wasn’t the best beach I’ve been to, but it was adequate and most of the time we were the only ones on the beach. We enjoyed downtown Ocean Springs, golfing at nearby courses and dining at Anthony’s and Kenny Ward’s. Two suggestions: get new beach chairs. The listing said they were provided, but one was so rusty, it would not fold up, the other was very uncomfortable. We would have brought ours if we had known. Also, the master bedroom needs blackout curtain. The sun rises at 6 am, so if you’re looking to sleep in on your vacation, you won’t. ##### Judy R.
