Walk to the majestic ocean beach and Pacific Pines State Park from this comfortable, two-bedroom home in Ocean Park, where the very best of the Long Beach Peninsula waits at your fingertips.

This home sits half a mile from public beach access on 280th Street and three-quarters of a mile from Pacific Pines, a 10-acre expanse that's ideal for birding, fishing, shellfish hunting, and watching the sunset. Leadbetter Point State Park is to the north while Cape Disappointment, Long Beach, and Ilwaco are south, with scenic stretches of ocean coast along the way.

After a day spent beachcombing or golfing, you'll be greeted back at home by a grassy yard, a covered patio with a gas grill, and an outdoor firepit where you can gather for tales of the day's adventures. The interior is open and sunny, beginning with a living room that features a gas fireplace and a cable TV with streaming capability. The living room opens to an airy kitchen, a breakfast bar, and an eat-in dining table. Of the two bedrooms, each has its own smart TV as well.

Disappointing Stay – Would Not RecommendWe were very disappointed with our stay at this property. Upon arrival, we were hit with an overwhelming smell of smoke inside the home. Unfortunately, we couldn’t air out the space as most of the windows either had no screens or were too dirty—inside and out—to open. Only two windows in the entire house had screens, making ventilation nearly impossible, which was especially concerning as my daughter has asthma.The condition of the home was not what we expected for the price we paid. The throw rugs had to be rolled up because they were full of sharp outdoor stickers, making the floors uncomfortable and unsafe to walk on barefoot. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the ceiling fan in the primary bedroom was thick with dust. Additionally, the windows were covered in smudges and handprints, further contributing to the overall lack of cleanliness.We contacted the management, who offered to have us speak with someone if we called them, but no action was taken to resolve the issues. Ultimately, we made the difficult decision to leave the property early due to the poor air quality and cleanliness concerns.One more important note: the listing suggested beach access, but walking to the beach was not safe due to a very busy highway with no sidewalk or path.This was not the relaxing, clean, or safe environment we expected. I would not recommend staying here, especially for families or anyone sensitive to air quality. V

Definitely not worth the 450 I spent for 2 nights

This house on the outside looks terrible but it’s pretty when you walk in, we had problems with cleanliness inside and outside the property, there were 2 dead animals on the property that my boyfriend had to move with a stick so the children wouldn’t touch it, there were dead flies in the window, and in the living room on the window in between the TV and the cabinets there were smeared hand prints on the outside of the window that kind of spooked us! There is no curtain for the sliding glass door so people can just watch you while your in the kitchen, and every single dish needed to be washed before using it because there was either sticky stuff on them or they had crusted food on them, overall not worth what we spent we couldn’t even use the grill because both propane tanks were empty, and we couldn’t use the fire pit because it’s under a bunch of trees, I wouldn’t stay here again! And all the carpets have these little spikey thorns that no matter how many times we vacuumed we couldn’t get out of the carpet, and we had a little one with us so it was hard to keep having to pull thorns out of his socks!

The house was very clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was comfortable and it was a nice place to stay. ...EXCEPT for the dog policy. It said it was dog-friendly and it wasn't clear that we had to let them know several days in advance. We did let them know a day or two before and we found we were charged TRIPLE the normal rate, as a result. We were told there were "preparations" by staff for a dog and, as far as we could tell, the "preparations" consisted of one very greasy dog dish placed under the sink, which due to the condition, we didn't use. The owners or VRBO need to make very clear the need to let them know SEVERAL days in advance that a dog is coming.

Everyone is happy

We had virtually no issues. Perfect little house. Great for our three best friend. It was nice for the owners to supply a cat outside of the fence so the dogs could be entertained. Only wants, more spoons and lamps for the bedroom. Oh and a scrabble game. This place is well equipped, easy to find, in a great location. We had an amazing time. Hope to return on a regular basis.

We really enjoyed the location being away from noice of staying in Long Beach. Great access to ocean from the close park access. The covered grill area was great as it rained, kitchen well equipped - even had a Belgian waffle maker! Photos were accurate and we enjoyed a very comfortable beach stay!! The washer/dryer was great as our clothes got wet from the weather, and the gas fireplace was cozy...

Great house wish neighborhood was better.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family. A lot of the previous things that other reviews had mentioned or complained about were fixed. The only reason we can't give a 5 star review is due to the neighbors' dogs. There were multiple instances early on during our stay when the neighbor's dogs ran unleashed to the fence and began fence fighting with our dogs. Overall the property is very pet friendly but these outbursts that would occur suddenly by surprise definitely caused a lot of early stress during our stay. Once we were aware of the situation with the neighbors dogs we just made sure to take our dogs outside at different times or walk them on the other side of the property. The house is supplied with everything you could possibly need especially the kitchen. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer at the house!!! It made coming home from vacation a little less overwhelming. It was convenient to be so close to the beach and the local stores. We would definitely stay there again now that we know how to handle the neighbor dog situation a little better.

The property is nice. The surrounding ones are not. The kitchen stools are too high for the bar. The kitchen table stools are too short. The six drawer dresser is full of linens with no space for clothes. There are no mats outside or inside the front door for wiping shoes off and the hallway would be better suited for hooks to hang coats and beach towels, than the current decor. The bathroom has no heat. The state park a ‘half mile’ away is closed and that should be noted, especially during spring break. Definitely not worth what we paid. Our first and probably last Vacasa stay.

Cute little house!

Would definitely stay again because it is so dog friendly and big and open. 4 of us with 3 dogs, we didn't feel cramped or in eachothers space. Could use a bigger couch (sectional) all of us couldn't fit on the one in there. Had some trouble with the fireplace so we froze but then had a space heater brought to us and compensation, so that was appreciated. Close to the beach, stores and restaurants!

Beyond perfect

The house was perfect for us to stay. It had a fence which helped with my little ones, extremely clean, tvs in each room, nothing for my little one to accidentally break. Cooking was a breeze, it even had board games for my kids to play. I loved everything about this house and my stay! Definitely going to use this house again in future trips.
