The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and features a large outdoor pool. The pool is situated in the side yard under the open sky, and is adjacent to an under the house, open living area with an amazing grilling station, modern "L" shaped couch, dining table, hammock and much, much more. The house sits on a beautifully landscaped, oversized corner lot, one block directly across from the public beach access at one of the widest, most beautiful beach locations on the island. All 4 bedrooms offer beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean, and every window in the house provides a natural water view. The interior has been professionally decorated and remodeled with brand new bedroom furniture, top of the line large flat panel televisions and 150 Mbps fiber optic high speed internet broadband. One adult bicycle and two sit-on-top kayaks are also included. TIKI THEMED POOL AND ENTERTAINMENT AREA - WHERE EVERYDAY'S AN OIB LUAU! The pool area was designed to be the ultimate entertainment area. The 12 X 24 fiberglass salt water pool is rectangular with side entry steps and hand rail, and features an underwater seating bench with two underwater multi-colored LED lights. The pool can be heated for an additional fee and is professionally maintained, located on the side of the house under the open sky, and the entire back and side yard has been fenced in to create an open, backyard play area with gorgeous canal views and ample shaded space under the house, perfect for relaxing outdoors, grilling, eating or playing games. The “under the house recreational/living area” features a covered sitting area with modern "L" shaped outdoor couch, coffee table, patio dining table with 6 chairs, enclosed outside hot and cold shower, outdoor gas grilling station with paver walkway, hammock and Bimini hook and ring toss game. Outside by the pool there are four chaise lounge chairs, perfect for soaking up the sun or relaxing under the stars, and (coming soon) outdoor lighting with string lights and spot lights on the gorgeous palm trees. The extra side yard is the perfect place for kids to play. The entire outdoor area serves as a second living area for guests of all ages to spread out, socialize, relax, play and enjoy. The home backs up to a concrete canal, offering ocean, canal and marsh views and has a large, stable boat dock with ramp, boat cleats and ladder. Having ocean, canal and marsh views all in one home is truly unique, and if you bring your jet ski or boat, the canal connects with the Intracoastal Waterway, or you might also enjoy kayaking or paddle boarding up and down the canals. TOP OF THE LINE TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATIONS There is whole house WIFI fed by a new fiber optic high speed internet connection (150 MBps upload and download speeds). This awesome speed allows multiple users to enjoy fast internet connections simultaneously for web surfing, computer gaming, video chatting and movie streaming. There are five large panel Samsung televisions, three with 4K resolution and “smart” apps and two with 1080P that are equipped with Chromecast. OPEN MAIN LEVEL LIVING AREA WITH TWO BEDROOMS The first floor features a large, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and large palladium windows. The living room offers modern furnishings including one extra large sofa, one large, queen sleeper sofa and a loveseat (new in 2019), a large 65" 4K flat screen television and a Blu-ray player. Suspended from the ceiling, a large, slow-moving double ceiling fan creates a relaxing, tropical vibe. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a bar area for extra seating. The large dining table seats 8, with additional seating at the bar, there is also seating on the oversized back deck overlooking the canal. It’s absolutely gorgeous dining outside, watching the beautiful sky as the sun sets over the canal on our south facing island. There is a laundry closet with large washing machine and dryer, two bedrooms and one full bath on the first floor. One bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan, large 55" 4K flat panel television, ocean view and private balcony with two chairs, perfect for watching the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. The second downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a murphy wall bed system that can easily be converted to twin bunk beds, ceiling fan, large 43" 4K flat panel television, ocean view and large palladium window. UPSTAIRS - TWO KING BED MASTER SUITES WITH OCEAN VIEWS The second floor features two bedrooms that are master suites with king beds and private bathrooms. We loved having a heated pool for the cooler mornings and the walk to the beach was not far at all. Loved the ocean view from the balconies too. My brothers, sister in laws, nieces and nephews started a new tradition every spring break visiting our mother and this trip was by far our best. And it was absolutely because of this house. Our first time staying on OIB and it did not disappoint. The house had everything. The layout was perfect. The house and pool were clean and everyone loved staying here. We stayed during the off-season (March) and there was a lot of construction vehicles/traffic going up and down on the street which detracted a bit from the serenity of the surroundings. It wasn't warm enough for the usual beach activity, but we enjoyed the bicycles (they don't look like much but it's a quality ride) and exploring the area. It is a perfect house for summertime as it is literally steps from the ocean. The owner is fantastic and very accessible. We were caught off guard about having to rent sheets and towels and make our own beds upon arrival (I hadn't noticed that in the listing but it clearly states it now.) Other than that minor inconvenience, it was a lovely stay and would be great for a large family. There is also a nice pool and a big yard with a grill. ##### Anne T. We loved that there was seating for everyone and that the beds were super comfortable! We enjoyed large family meals together and all the amenities that OIB has to offer! So close to the beach (one block), awesome pool (that we had heated), kayaking on the canal, tons of bike rides, and overall relaxing atmosphere. The property Manager lets you know all of this when booking, but when you pack your own linens and towels, make sure to bring some shower mats as the floors can be a bit slippery when wet. Our family of four had the best time at OIB thanks in large part to this exceptional property. Terri was extremely proactive in giving us information to get us in without a hitch and helping make our stay amazing. She was very responsive to any questions or concerns. The house is amazing! Indoor space was spic and span, extremely comfortable beds/bedding, great decor, wonderful outside light, and nice appliances. The outdoor space takes it to another level! We enjoyed coffee on the back porch every morning and wine/cocktails at night overlooking amazing views in every direction. The pool was the perfect oasis from the afternoon sun for our four year old when we came back to put our toddler down for a nap - it is shaded after noon! I enjoyed taking a dip in the evenings after going for a jog. We used the kayaks and fished off of the pier - caught 8 fish and our kiddo was in heaven! We played night bocce in the very soft grass in the evenings. Not an inch of the outdoor space was unused! Can't remember a better vacation rental in our 20+ years of coming to OIB! ##### Crista G.
