Lorsque nous sommes arrivés à 18h00, la porte était close. Le numéro d appel en cas d urgence était un répondeur qui renvoyait sur un répondeur. Heureusement que les américains sont sympa et ont pu nous aider. Et surtout le chef cuisto qui a été adorable. Pour la propreté moyen notamment le climatiseur rempli de champignons. Nous ne l avo s pas allumé. Beaucoup de bruit toute la nuit venant des autres climatiseurs. Propreté sinon ok. Seul le petit déjeuner était super et bien sûr l'emplacement à 100 m de la plage.

Wifi didn't work for half of our stay. Only one set of keys for 3 persons. It's a family friendly hotel, so kids tend to be a bit noisy.

Loved the friendly vibe at this beautiful Victorian property. Shout-out to Trudy for warmly welcoming us after a 10.5 hour ride and letting us hang in our room a bit later. One block to the boardwalk and short walk to iconic Asbury Park. Double Room was spacious and we had everything we needed (only one suggestion: a full-length mirror!)

My boyfriend & I, plus 10 other paying guests were all turned away by the Majestic Hotel just before the weekend began due to “a catastrophic maintenance issue.” We were all left scrambling to find other places to stay at the 11th hour, & most of us could not stay in Ocean Grove. When we walked by the Majestic Saturday & looked inside, we saw a lot of painters. It turns out their “catastrophic maintenance issue” was just renovations! This was a very tacky way to treat paying customers. The employee who broke the news to me, Katie, was very nice & she returned my deposit money immediately. No desire to return here.

It was a very nice place to stay. I went with a group of friends for a trip to Asbury. The location was perfect, very close to where we wanted to go, and right next to the beach. I love the old-fashioned decor, it made for taking awesome pictures with my friends before going out! The staff was very accommodating (even though we were a late check in). They texted me pretty early on to get all my info. There was a cute little breakfast setup too. When we got in, the TV in our room was set to a fireplace channel so it was a nice and relaxing ambiance.

The majestic is set in the perfect location to asbury, and really made it easy to explore both places! It is such a charming place with very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is amazing. Clean, comfortable, probably the best bed I’ve ever slept in. Feels cozy and safe. Staff is super friendly- it’s like having a laid back conversation with good friends. Love it!

The hospitality was exceptional. The location was wonderful. Our room was not quite as lovely as the professional photos promised. That was a little disappointing, but the overall experience of staying at the Majestic was very good. We would do it again! :~)

The building was an older building, and was beautiful. Due to its age however, the walls were thin, and I could hear people talking and watching TV in adjacent rooms. Also, the room temperature was difficult to maintain. The neighborhood is beautiful and SMS in walking distance of the beach.

It was very close to the beach and had easy parking and walking to shops. I hated that we had to wait 20 minutes and call twice to check in (plus, no one checked us out). The room was small and cold. It had a nice shower and a nice view. The beach was pristine.

Just a short walk from the beach, easy to reach Asbury Park boardwalk by foot or car. Short walk to stores and restaurants. Some upgrades in process under new ownership. We plan to return.

The perfect weekend getaway
I had a wonderful stay in one of the contemporary rooms. It’s a short walk to the beach, and the hotel and its porches are charming. Relaxing in the widow’s walk while enjoying a cup of tea was a perfect way to spend the last few minutes of my stay. The manager was really nice and accommodated my request to store luggage since I arrive before the schedule check-in time. I can’t wait to come back!

We only stayed one night. Our first visit to this hotel and Ocean Grove. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The property is lovely and accommodations are comfortable. Lovely area. I would visit again.
