It is also located near a wide variety of stores and restaurants of all types. Most importantly, it is located near a grocer (Food Lion). The home is comfortable. The AC worked well. The beds were comfortable. There were multiple smart TVs throughout the home. The home was very clean. The bathrooms, kitchen, the dishes, and the entire home were well-cleaned. Cons: The kitchen is poorly equipped. I like to cook breakfast for my family on vacation. The kitchen utensils and tools look like they were gathered at the last minute from a yard sale. Almost all of the pots and pans had severely scratched non-stick coatings. There was only one serviceable stainless steel pan. Cooking a simple breakfast was a challenge in this home. There were a lot of DIY fixes in the home, all done very poorly. There was a wall covered with vinyl paneling, which looked very nice, but the panels were peeling off and falling on the floor. The kitchen cabinet doors were hung crooked. The bathroom was missing a towel hanger, as though someone just ripped it off the wall. The handle to the front screen door kept falling off. When we arrived, there were panels missing from the blinds on the living room sliding door (someone came to install those AFTER we checked in). All of these things are cosmetic, and did not affect the enjoyment of our trip, but it is disappointing to see the cheap and poorly done finishes on a vacation home (the website photos are brilliant, as they depict the home as being sparkly and new-ish). ##### James A. Jul 6, 2025 #### 4th of July week The house was good for 2 adults and 4 kids, although we did pack an extra air mattress and did not use the pullout couch so we had more living room space. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, beach walk was easy, and grocery store was super close. We did utilize the bus transportation, $4 for a transfer that lasts a whole day. Easy to use with lots of stops, we navigated easily with kids. The house had lots of amenities for cooking, along with beach chairs. A wagon for lugging a cooler back and forth. We left sand toys for the next group. We watched fireworks from the pool, which was a short walk down and nice and clean. I left 4 stars instead of 5 only because the back patio was not useable. The fence was leaning inwards, and the patio clearly had not been cleaned up all season. Very worn. Felt like if you were too close to the edge, you'd fall off. Uncomfortable and needs replaced. Kitchen utensils minimal. Couldn't really cook a meal for a family of 6 if you wanted to. Tiny ants in kitchen. Living room very small and not enough seating for 6 unless you want to sit on top of each other. Blinds in living room riped up and off. People from outside could see in and actually waved at us. Made someone sleeping in the living room impossible. Regular size ants in bedrooms. Every morning I woke up there was at least one on my phone. Upstairs had 2 dogs that woke every morning by 6 and would run through the place playing. It's family of the owner that was there and said they came every 2 weeks, I believe. Area isn't bad but really nothing close enough to walk to, to do. ##### Angela L.
