One night stay

Posted 22-Sep-2016
Pros: Décor was cool. Atrium was lively and decorated nicely.
We stopped and stayed for the night. Having made our reservation ahead of time we had a room that we truly liked. The facility has a indoor & outdoor pool as well as a couple hot tubs next to the indoor pool. Enjoyed our stay as we had direct access to the ocean and beach area.

One night

Posted 8-Sep-2016
Pros: It was convenient to walk everywhere that was necessary.
Location: The location is on 54th street so it was close to a little plaza that had a pizza spot, liquor store, Dunkin Donuts, tcby, and Fractured Prune.
My best friend and I arrived to the hotel 2 hours before check in time. We walked into the lobby and got registered in and the front desk ladies said that they would give a call when the room was ready. Not even 10 minutes of walking to our car to grab a few things, we got the phone call that our room was ready. When we arrived to the room, we were definitely pleased with how clean and put together it was. When we looked out of our little balcony, it overlooked the tropical birds, the fishes in the pond, the indoor pool and hot tubs, along with the little cafe. After deciding our plan for rest of the day, we were definitely ecstatic about how convenient it was to walk to everywhere we planned on going. As the night ended and it was sleep time, the beds were very comfortable and pillows were awesome. The morning of our check out was pretty fast and easy. So overall this stay was an awesome time.

Excellent Location

Posted 4-Sep-2016
Pros: Location
Overall this is a decent Hotel, great location, easy access to the beach. As far as the rooms, I feel they need a major facelift!!! My memory is not great, but I do know I stayed there 33 years ago for my high school senior week and it pretty much hasn't changed!!

Comfortable family oriented hotel in Midtown OC

Posted 16-Aug-2016
Pros: The layout with an indoor atrium hosting a café and pool.
Cons: The WiFi could be improved to increase room coverage and speed. However, I have yet to encounter a great hotel WiFi experience anywhere.
Location: There were plenty of places to shop, restaurants, and other forms of entertainment. Public transportation is readily available.
My family has visited Ocean City MD for several years and we have stayed in various hotels along the boardwalk. This summer we chose the Quality Inn Oceanfront on 54th Street in midtown OC. My family had a very enjoyable experience and was pleasantly surprised by our accommodations. It was clean and comfortable, but not the most spacious room. We chose a poolside room, which meant no ocean view. However, our room overlooked the outdoor pool, which was beautifully landscaped and impeccably maintained. In addition, our balcony faced their indoor atrium, which contained a café, a koi pond, and an indoor pool with two hot tubs. The atrium also featured large cages with different tropical birds, including a parrot. Our room included a small but functional kitchenette, complete with full size refrigerator, electric stove, and microwave. The staff were courteous and professional. Our family plans to return next year for a longer stay.

Close to beach and great for kids. But not clean.

Location was good. Kids amenities are great. It is an older hotel, so a little outdated and carpet in the room was vacumed but not clean. If you walk bare foot your sole feet became black.

Nice, seaside hotel with a unique drawing card!!!

Posted 3-Jan-2016
Pros: Already stated above.
Cons: There are upgrades needed to the kitchens, more cooking items, and the outside steps and decking needs improved.
Location: The hotel literally sits on the sand, in the middle of town, with restaurants, amusements, and shopping within a few minute's drive.
We have stayed here before, and were glad to come back again. The staff is friendly and helpful, you can step out of the front entrance and you are on the sand, indoor pool and hot tubs, but the best of all is....an atrium with beautiful tropical birds, parrots to a huge macaw, streams of moving water filled with colorful koi and lazy turtles. The only drawback was the noise from the bar and grill in the atrium area--it filters up into the rooms, and it gets a little noisy at night. But, all in all, another lovely stay in Ocean City, MD.
