This condo, located on the side of an oceanfront complex, comes complete with every essential for a memorable beach escape. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen (with a dishwasher), a private washer/dryer, central air conditioning, free WiFi, a balcony overlooking the ocean, and flatscreen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. On the grounds, you'll have access to an elevated outdoor swimming pool overlooking the ocean. In this convenient part of Ocean City (35th Street), not only will you enjoy direct access to the beach - you'll be within blocks of the historic Ocean City Boardwalk, popular restaurants, casual eateries, bustling nightlife, and all sorts of great shops and conveniences. Things to Know Full kitchen Side ocean view No pets and no smoking allowed Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

I will start this review with I should have known where there were NO reviews on VRBO for the Summer Beach 707 unit. The communication with the sales company was through canned text messages after I emailed and sent them a text message. Upon check in, the lock on the condo was very complicated to work and was not very secure. The carpeting was so dirty and stained that you could tell that it was not cleaned for years. I would walk around the condo with my sandals on. The sofa was also very dirty that we placed a sheet over it before sitting on it. You could tell that the owner attempted to upgrade the bathrooms however there was mold on the ceiling of both of them. The master bathroom mold was terrible and very visible in the drop ceiling and on the wall. I'm hoping this review on VRBO gets posted so it can help potential customers from booking this unit. I know now why the cost was so low for prime season. Lesson learned - aways make sure VRBO has strong recommendations.

I booked this VRBO before it had any comments. We used this condo as a group of 4 for a music festival we were attending. Check in Thursday and check out on Sunday. Upon arrival, as previous people have stated the check in process was difficult. You must drive to a separate corporate office to pick up keys. Then drive to the condo. Parking was good, but it was also pretty empty in the condos. At check in we had a hard time getting the key to work for the front door. We were eventually let in by someone inside. (I emailed the "owner" who said just jiggle it more). We found the key worked just fine in the side door and the parking garage door, so we just used those two for our stay. Then we move on to the room, we had no issue with the door keypad however, the condo was not well taken care of AT ALL. What appeared clean: everything that a good cleaner could get to. what was dirty: EVERYTHING the floor needed a good steam cleaning; there was a large stain in the middle and feels like years of goo. the sofa was visibly dirty & had actual dirt; we laid a blanket over the couch to sit. The outside chairs were cracked and broken (plastic loungers). Mold in the shower walls, the ceiling was peeling & stained, lots of old holes in the walls from previous stuff hung or scuffed. sliding doors had no locks, I used the microwave and sparks came out of the socket. no maintenance in this place HAZARD WARNING.

I was very disappointed with our experience at this property.First, the check-in process was extremely inconvenient. We had to drive approximately 30 blocks in the opposite direction just to pick up parking passes, codes, and keys, and then drive back to the condo.When we arrived, the door lock was not working properly. It took us about 20 minutes to get inside. The rental office changed the codes, but we ultimately had to use the original code to get in. That night, we had trouble with the lock again and spent another 15 minutes trying to get inside. The following day, the same problem happened again.Maintenance came out that morning to address the lock, but unfortunately, the problem wasn't resolved. The head of maintenance eventually came out to show us how the lock was supposed to work, only to determine that the lock was actually broken. He gave us a physical key to use for the remainder of our stay. At that point, we were afraid to have anyone attempt to "fix" it again and risk being locked out.Unfortunately, the condition of the condo itself was also very disappointing. The unit was not clean, with stained rugs, dirty furniture, scuffed walls, and what looks like black mold in the bathroom. The sliding balcony door barely worked and would not slide properly.Overall, the condo gave us the impression that it had recently been purchased and immediately put on the rental market without much attention to cleanliness, maintenance, or the comfort of the guests.
