Holiday Cottage Efficiency-Oceanside 77th St, W/D, AC, WIFI

Efficiency unit with kitchenette, including microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee maker and double burner electric cook top. Located ocean block, just steps from the low density beach at 77th street. Flat screen TV with cable service and free WIFI are provided. The bathroom has a full tub and shower. There is a king sized bed, as well as a full size futon. Access to shared laundry room. This property is comparable in size and layout to a hotel room. There is no view to speak of, but the path to the beach is very close. This unit is attached to the rear of a singe family home, the entrance is located on the alley behind the building. One car off-street parking available. Two burner cooktop only - no range/oven. TV is a streaming service with live TV and local channels.

As advertised

It was do easy to find a perfect fit for our vacation. They even allowed us to bring our German ShepTucker. He loved sprawling on the king size bed for his naps!! Check in was so easy and fast. Definitely better than advertised. Have recommended to family and friends.

Could have been better

For being recently refurbished, the place could have been much better. Does not have: Adequate pillows (completely flat) Mirror above sink Kitchen counter space Curtains (extremely bright after 6am) Trash cans Level Floor - very sloped by kitchen Freshly painted and carpeted. Overall very clean but these above issues caused us discomfort and headache

Great location, somewhat inaccurate description.

The location and cleanliness were amazing. The one big negative was a lack of cooktop. On a teacher budget we decided on this location so that we could save money by cooking at the retal. Unfortunately there was only a microwave and not a two burner stove as described. Honestly I probably would have still booked even if the rental said it was microwave only, but I would have been more prepared with packed food choices.

Great spot!

Just a tiny little place steps away from the beach! It is small, but it’s all you need. Really enjoyed my week stay here. Only complaint is the listing says there’s a electric cooktop but there wasn’t one in the room.

Off the “path”

Property is exactly what you need for just a nice peaceful couple getaway. Cottage had the necessities, neighborhood was peaceful, half a block walk to beach, and far enough away from the riff raff that comes with the boardwalk area. Was my first time at ocean city, md and honestly aside from the cottage, the beach, and a select few restaurants I think 4 days is enough, and avoid the boardwalk, I felt like I was in the modern day point pleasant, nj. The boardwalk is gross just the demographic and the lack of anything different is not worth it. Stay in the surrounding area of the cottage.

The efficiency unit was very clean layout of the unit was very nice nicely decorated had everything you would need was conveniently located and great for people with pets because of the location and even out of the entrance

Pictures are way too outdated

The pictures do not show the true condition of the property. Multiple stains on the ceiling showing roof leaks, stains on the carpet, wallpaper pealing off the wall, small holes all over the walls. The place also smelled like mildew. The comforter looked like it had never been cleaned. If the pictures showed this condition I would of never stayed here. There were also a decent amount of ants. Thankfully the agency provided us with traps and spray.
