The building offers direct beach access, and you'll be within walking distance of several restaurants and shops all along Coastal Highway. Jump in the car or take the bus to Jolly Rogers and Splash Mountain Water Park five miles south. THINGS TO KNOW Smoking is strictly prohibited on-site. There are active surveillance cameras on-site. These are exterior cameras only. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles. The biggest draw backs inside the condo we that the kitchen faucet seems half broken. The master shower basin wouldnt drain, and the floors seemed to have a film on them, which is unpleasant for someone who likes to walk barefoot. May 15, 2024 #### Beautiful We stayed in this jem for our vacation from Friday 5/10 to 5/14 long mother's day weekend 😉 My 2 best Friends/mother and sister and my 3 little girls and we absolutely loved it! We had the pool to our selves every day of our stay and that was a absolute plus as kids are kids so I'm happy for that not that it would have changed anything as the pool and the pool area are huge. Our view was absolutely amazing we had a chance to see dolphins as well and the girls were so excited about it, they loved the game room and fitness as well. The only thing i would recommend is to have extra blankets for the pull out sofa as there was none and pillows and to fix the flickering light in the kitchen and that's it. The photos are accurate for the decor, spaciousness, location, cleanliness, etc. The location and overall building were perfect. The carpeting in the living area has been replaced with nice vinyl flooring. There are a few repairs that still are needed, like other complaints that were made earlier in the year. 1\. Carpeting in bedrooms need a really good shampooing, or possible replacing with similar new flooring. 2\. Missing towel rack in the Master BR was recently replaced. But the handyman did not properly anchor it to the drywall, and it fell down with just the weight of a wet towel. :-\[ 3\. The kitchen looks almost brand new, but yes, one drawer knob just needs to be fixed. 4\. The fridge, stove and dishwasher look like new and/or hardly used. Plenty of dishware :-) 5\. The kitchen faucet doesn't work correctly and only puts out hot water. Needs fixing. 6\. The washer and dryer look like they are from the 80s or 90s. But they work, and that is a blessing in a rental. 7\. And then there's the 1970s era toaster oven that shorted out when I used it. Needs to be replaced! 8\. Matresses are very firm, look new and we slept well, though I prefer a softer mattress. 9\. Check in/check out were a breeze. You can still hear the ocean, but the noise from the crowds is diminished and the people watching can’t be beat. We enjoyed both decks for sunrise and sunset. My only feedback is that this was honestly one of the worst stocked kitchens in terms of cooking that I have ever stayed in so if you plan to do lots of cooking, bring your key tools. Jan 4, 2023 #### Very Nice Unit, Terrible Pool The unit was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The offering of an indoor pool in late November was a big factor in our vacation and the pool was level 10 gross. The mold/mildew smell hits you in the face as soon as you enter. The place is soaking wet due to condensation and there's mold on the ceiling, the lining of the pool, the chairs, the floor, everywhere! ##### Kelly G. Amenities were great. The view was spectacular, we saw dolphins playing from the deck. All was good with the apartment but a few updates will have made me given it 5 stars. The main bedroom didn't have a complete curtain and we were up as soon as the sun rose. The carpets were a bit stain in the main bedroom as well as the cushions in the living room. No TV in either bedroom and no adding channel on the smart TV was a bit annoying as we wanted to watch the baseball all star game. Overall, we had a great time. ##### Beatriz L. Bring your own curtains if you don’t like sleeping with bright light. The condo is very spacious and has so much potential! Alot of things need improvement such as peeling paint, missing door knobs, missing towel bars in the bathroom, rips in furniture and curtains in both bedrooms that don’t block any light at all. My biggest issue is that it states twice in the listing that there is shared hot tub and there is NOT. We booked specifically for this for my mom with chronic pain and we were very disappointed. ##### Jackie S. The blinds were falling apart and the balcony wouldn’t lock. The first day we went there the bathroom mirror fell on my head, luckily no injuries. The ice maker stopped working after 2 days. The only good thing was that it was so close to the beach and they had an indoor pool. I think a little bit more maintenance before renting it out would be great. ##### Antike M. Dec 11, 2023 #### View fabulous, the condo not so much I really like the Irene as a building but this unit was in disrepair. Taped up Broken shower head, peeling paint, mirror off the wall, missing towel rods, taped up broken shelf in shower and filthy carpets. The owners clearly have not maintained this property. Its a shame. Could be beautiful with some TLC and elbow grease.
