Broad Marsh is conveniently located near the Route 90 Bridge in one of the quietest and least-crowded sections of Ocean City. It is within walking distance of numerous fine restaurants, and only minutes away from the Boardwalk, rides, shopping, recreational sports, and world-class golf. And you're less than two blocks from the beach! This home offers serenity the minute you enter the ground floor. Head up to the living room, which boasts hardwood floors, a cambric queen sofabed, a colorful chair and matching ottoman, a striped armchair, and a TV. Admire the seahorses on the walls as you savor a glass of wine after dinner. Patio doors lead to a lovely deck, perfect for that morning cup of joe. The kitchen and dining areas are open and inviting. You get a gourmet space with stainless steel appliances and many accouterments to make your repast one that will be talked about for years to come. The dining table features comfortable seating for four as well as two wooden benches, making it a great spot for guests. Glass doors open to a beautiful balcony with views of the bay and beyond. This home has four bedrooms including two primaries. The primary suite boasts a king bed in a brass frame with a seashell coverlet, wooden furniture, and an en-suite full bath with a standalone shower and bench seating. Head out onto the balcony for romantic views of the bay. The primary master offers a queen bed with a beach theme and beautiful antiques. The third bedroom features a queen bed with a nautical theme throughout, from the coverlet to the ship model on the dresser. The fourth bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed, perfect for the children. You get two additional bathrooms as well as a half bath on the ground level near the garage. This three-story home offers free WiFi and a private washer and dryer. There's also covered parking on the ground level for one car. THINGS TO KNOW TEAP (Trespass Enforcement Authorization Program) signs have been installed throughout this community. This provides the Broad Marsh community and Marina extended police protection by authorizing the police department to enforce, at their discretion, trespassing laws, and to enter or remain upon the premises. The discharge of all fireworks/pyrotechnics, including ground based sparklers sold/allowed in neighboring states/counties is prohibited in the Town of Ocean City. Only small handheld sparklers are permitted to be used with competent, adult supervision. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Loved that I could bring my dog and let her partake in vacation. Check-in and out was painless and there was a dumpster right around the corner.Could use some counter chairs in the bathroom and front deck. Upper stairs and upper hallway were not cleaned before our arrival. There we stains and clumps of dog hair in the upper hallway. Dryer did not work. Not enough wash rags. The main hallway shower did not drain quickly.I would’ve easily given the place 5 stars, but those issues are easily fixable and I would still commend staying here. ##### Melvin S. The house itself was not properly cleaned and it was apparent that it had not been appropriately maintained for renting to families.The carpet on the steps to the upstairs and the upstairs carpet was full of black marks, as if it hadn't been properly cleaned in more than just months. The blind in one of the upstairs bedrooms was broken, crooked, and wouldn't close. Both windows let in so much light we had to hang one of our own light weight blankets over it in order to sleep. The dryer didn't work. It took over 24 hours to even get someone to look at it to tell us it needed to be replaced, which it never was. We had 6 adults and 5 children with no dryer. There were ants everywhere! We felt it best to throw away food that was in closed boxes since so many ants were crawling over it. We lost power for several hours on Wednesday afternoon. We didn't have wifi for 2 days because the code given to us didn't work. The issue is the sofa bed needs to replaced immediately. Very old and torn out and not worth. All the furniture in the living room needs to replaced. Kitchen should be stocked with enough Pots and Pans. Wine opener is missing too. So stock up. Other looks good, nice house, nice size bedrooms and bathrooms. You can provide basic supplies a little more generously so one do not have to run to buy more toilet papers. With our request, coffee maker was replaced the next day. Appreciated the quick response. Séjour de 3 nuits en juillet 2025 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### Emily K. 10 juill. 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Problems with communication - great home otherwise We got to our property and every smoke detector was going off. These are hard wired so taking the batteries out didn’t work to silence them. We checked in right at 4 pm and I notified them right away- they said they were working on having someone there to fix them. 7pm rolls around and no one had came to the house. I send multiple messages and had numerous phone calls with them. No one ever came that day so we went out and got batteries our self and replaced them. The next morning someone finally texted saying they were on the way to resolve the issue - but we had already fixed it. I had my dog with me who was scared of the alarms and wouldn’t eat due to his anxiety. After we fixed it ourselves we had a great stay. House is spacious, rooms are nice. We booked a unit with Vacasa through the VRBO website. Vacasa scammed us! We were booked from 9/19/24 to 9/23/24\. They did not give us what we paid for, and they did not give us a refund! When we arrived on 9/19/24 at 9:00 p.m., we inspected the unit and were horrified by the conditions. It was filthy! It was unhabitable. We have 70+ pics of the evidence. The carpet was appalling, with disgusting stains throughout- no clean floors. Massive stains on the wall and under beds. Piles of dirt. Grease dripping from the bottom of the kitchen table. All these were broken: Numerous Window Blinds. Porch Posts. Cabinets. Lamp Shades. Table. Chair. Ottoman. There were horrible stains on the couch and pull-out bed mattress. Used toilet paper stuck to the plunger. Dryer lint trap full of dog hair. Empty liquor bottle in drawer. Dirty linens piled in each closet. Dirty fans. Air conditioning return packed full of grime. Used coffee grounds were still in the coffee pot. Food was stuck inside the dishwasher door. There was dog hair and dirt in every drawer and surface. We couldn't stay the night. We contacted Vacasa and asked them to give us a clean unit without broken furniture. They declined. They said the local team would reach out to us. They did not give us any time frame at all. It was 10 p.m. by the time we finished talking with them on the phone. The local team did not call us until 11:40 am the next day (9/20). There is more to say but 0 stars!!!! ##### Katie T. Run don’t walk away from this listing. There was literally Poop in the downstairs bathroom. All over the floor and in the shower from the toilet being clogged and the cleaning people had just left as we were going in. Our entire first day at the beach was ruined. We were promised to be compensated for our inconvenience but still have yet to receive what they promised. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!! ##### David B. Walking distance to the beach and the bay. Many restaurants and attractions close by. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and worked for our family. The family enjoyed using the pool. Drawbacks include shabby furniture in the living room, broken bed frame in the master suite. There were 3 balconies, however only one had two chairs to use. The other two were empty. There was a broken door threshold that was easily a tripping hazard. It would be a great rental if the unit was better maintained. ##### Cheryl R. We loved all the balconies and having a garage. The house was clean with nice tall ceilings. The neighborhood is very well kept and an easy walk to Dunkin, which is a necessity for me and my coffee addiction. Our only downside was we could not get a late checkout and trying to add an additional night was a challenge. But that is more of a problem with VRBO. I would definitely stay here again, but probably would not book through VRBO. ##### Renee L. There was a lot of ware and tear on the property, un-glued flooring threshold in the garage, broken cabinet doors, upstairs carpets were stained. Overall great property would book again. I live in a resort town in Florida so I complete understand what these properties go through. Check in check out was seamless. ##### Christopher W. On arrival, we found that one of the bedrooms was unusable (locked) and no pillow cases were provided. I called and messaged the rental company asking if they could send someone over to address these issues after arriving Friday. I was told someone would be over in the morning. We decided to deal with it for one night. The next day, we never heard back. This is unprofessional and made the trip incredibly unpleasant. The rental management company is unreliable. We paid for a rental with four bedrooms, but could only use three. No offer for partial reimbursement or apology was offered. I am appalled at the lack of customer service.
