Doors were a little hard to lock at first but once you understand then it was fine. My father tried all week to try to find something to complain about and he couldn't! Tough to do.... If you need more room to store clothes during the week you'll have a tough time finding it. The rooms offer a closet to hang clothes but no drawers or dresser. Overall, we loved our stay. It was one of our favorite houses we've ever stayed in and my family and I have been taking week long vacations for the past decade. The dishwasher from previous guests was still running so we had to put someone else's dishes away. Then there were "clean" linens on the beds but we had to make them ourselves. The blankets were stained and the trash cans outside were overflowing so there wasnt much room for our trash. We had to do some cleaning when we first arrived just to feel comfortable staying there. We loved the amenities the house offered but honestly the cleanliness did put a damper on our vacation. Should not be paying a cleaning fee just to clean the place ourselves. It was probably cleaner when we left than when we arrived. Property management was notified of the situation but when asked for a refund on at least the cleaning fee, I got no resolution and very vague responses. The only thing that was offered was to have someone else come over after we checked in to clean. This honestly was very dissapointing and I would not reccomend this house because of it. ##### Jennifer B. The photos don’t do it justice. It is either brand new construction or recently renovated. The home is spacious and comfortable (despite the mattresses being on the firm side). There are so many high end features that made a difference- like the manual citrus juice squeezer, the 6 burner Thor gas stove, the pot filler, the speaker system in the living room, the huge and lovely bathtub in one of the upstairs bathrooms, the linens that are provided, the new and comfortable couch, the 6 barstools at the kitchen counter, the stocked pantry, the electric fireplace, the fire pit outside next to the water, the chaise lounges on the deck overlooking the canal, the brand new outdoor grill….. I’ll stop here, but there are more. Thank you Vacasa for this spectacular experience! ##### Nicole C. The house was beautiful, clean and right on a canal. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The sunsets were lovely to watch from the deck. The fence, although not high, was enough to show our guy his boundaries and he enjoyed the yard and didn’t even jump off the dock into the canal. It was a short drive from the house to the Fenwick Island Delaware State Park, which was essentially empty during mid-week of the last week in April. We hope to come back again with more of our family a longer stay. ##### Mary M.
